    Hello BHW.

I am 20 years old and I am living in smaller European country. Since I was 15, I have been working online constantly. I have tried everything and made a lot of money doing CPA,PPD,growing social media pages, ranking affiliate websites, selling services on Fiverr...etc.

I have never met anyone who knows 10% of stuff that I know. I have probably read tens of thousands threads on BHW, reddit, and other IT forums since I have started working online. I have tried a lot of stuff, and I have great understanding of what works and what doesn't. In last few months, I went almost completely whitehat. I realized that blackhat ways can make you a lot of money but over time you need to build stable business and reputation that will always generate you income.

I know that there are a lot of guys like me, especially here on this forum, but I have never met someone in real life that I can talk to about this stuff.

I am currently working on multiple sources of income. SEO services, Social media management company, e-books, outsourcing and selling on Fiverr, managing Instagram pages... and I am always hungry to learn more and earn more.

If you are mature and experienced person(if you are young like me even better) and if you want to partner up and work together, or just talk occasionally and learn something from each other, feel free to message me. I don't have much free time since I am working on so many projects at the moment, but I will gladly talk to someone who can share knowledge with me and who can learn something from me.

My current main interest is Instagram and everything that goes with it.

I know that this kind of posts isn't usual on BHW and that people are usually only looking for get rich quick schemes. Especially newbies, but that is understandable.

I am not going to sell you anything and I expect that you won't try to sell me anything.

I am not looking to mentor anyone, if you are just starting out your best bet is to read, read, read and try out new stuff. I am looking for someone similar to me with lots of experience and knowledge. Who knows how we might be able to help each other in the future.

    Have a nice day! :)

Doesn't matter which one exactly, it is on Balkan though.

Would really love to know where do you hang out then. Because 99% of people I have met only know how to use Facebook and Instagram to post selfies and songs. And that is maximum they know about anything related to computers. "basic stuff you know". Alright.

That right there leads me to believe that you would be a nightmare to work with.

I know a shit-ton about a shit-ton, but I would never make boasting claims like that, because I know that for every new thing I learn it opens up a chasm of new things to learn.

"I've never met anyone who knows 10% of the stuff I know."

10% of nothing is still nothing.

You may read information all day, but you clearly don't know jack about networking with other people. "Let's network based on my arrogance and need to be praised!"

    Yeah, good luck with that.

The rest of the 90% you know might be just 1% for somebody else. There is no absolute in IM.

Which part don't you understand? Like I said, I know that there are people who know 100 times more than I do. But I haven't met them in real life. I have talked to many people who are way better at this than I am, but they aren't my friends or partners I work with.

Also you learn how to treat people like...well, people and not like commodities. Social skills are a must in networking. It's not always about what I need or what I can do for you, or what you can do for me. In fact, it's rarely about that.

Everyone I networked with on here was because I took a personal interest in them. That seems to be a foreign concept on this forum though.

Exactly. The more you learn, the more you understand you actually don't know shit. There is so much stuff that we can learn, and there is always someone way better and way smarter than us.

Nice, copy pasting comment just to up post count.

Shit, after months of not commenting much on BHW, I decided to create thread hoping that I would find someone just like me, interested in IM, who is willing to learn every day and try out new stuff. Instead, I have 5 people telling me that I don't know shit, even though they know nothing about me. This place didn't change at all.

I guess I could expect that. I didn't come with "EARN 999$ IN DAY - SEE HOW" thread. And I didn't come with magic trick how to rank your shitty affiliate site on Google on page 1 in less than 5 minutes. I came with request to maybe talk with someone who enjoys reading and implementing different internet marketing strategies.

    Keep up good work.

I would sympathise with you. Most of the people here at BHW are either complete newbies or super experienced. The problem is, those who are experienced carry a ton of attitude/swag/pride which makes it extremely difficult for newbies to approach them.I thought you would be the same.

But later on your comments proved me wrong.I am glad you are someone who is more open and expressive.Though I am not an European and belong from India, I'd definitely like to meet you some day.

We are all pessimistic. It's pretty clear there are a good handful of members who don't fall into the "fucking retard" spectrum here. I am one of them. AI is one of them. Some of the others in this thread may be as well. You have to search to find those who have like-minded philosophies as yourself. You haven't done so. Instead, you threw out a thread and hoped to fish in people smarter than yourself. Well, it worked, but not in the way you hoped.

Maybe next time, try going to the source instead of letting the sources come to you. That starts things off on the wrong foot right off the bat. As Sumit just said, those here who are experienced have shit attitudes, myself included. But if you check through my posting history, I'm far more helpful than I am hurtful, and love giving back financially and informationally when I have the drive to do so.

If you can't handle a little bad-mouthing in an off-topic section on an Internet forum, and instead need to backpedal to "You don't know nothin' bout me", you've got a lot of growth to do. But you write well, and you come across like you know your shit. Why don't you prove it and create a thread that actually helps the members you are shit-talking? From what I can see, besides a small burst of social signal-based contribution, you haven't done much but use this board as a Q&A section and a place to find cheap sellers since mid-2013.

OP, I've met four people on this forum who are ridiculously smarter than me. I mean it's ludicrous. They make me feel well beyond retarded. They post and I kind of just wither and die a little bit inside.

But I'm happy I know them. I learned a LOT from every last one of them. And all of them are ridiculously nice people.

To connect with them, I found common ground. We have the same sense of humor, the same way of looking at the world, the same way of thinking - something that we can agree upon. That let them know I wasn't a complete and total bitch like I am on this forum. And we opened up to each other. But I had to initiate contact and let them know that I wasn't after a business partnership. I was (and still am) concerned about them as a person.

I ask if they feel well. They ask after me. We do more than just talk shop. In fact, I say we talk shop about 25% of the time. The other 75% we spend making each other laugh, sharing stories, talking about our pets - you know. Normal stuff.

It's not about finding people I can talk business with. I can talk business with my mom. She's run at least 10 of them in her lifetime. She knows her stuff, and she knows when to quit. It's about connecting with people who share something a little bit more than "We all love IG let's be friends!" What if IG falls under? What if they decide they don't want to do IM anymore? What if I find out they're dying and they have six months to live?

Am I going to pack up shop and leave them because we no longer have anything in common?

That's why I said networking is about social skills. You connect with someone on a basis other than IM, and you'll find that you'll make friends on here pretty easily.

That's my useful comment for the day. You got lucky OP. As BHW royalty I have descended from my throne to help a common man. This is a rare occurrence. Bask in it.
