Does anyone know of any plugin, or hack for joomla that will parse all outgoing URL's?

Also, what is the best technique to do with outgoing url's?

Do you just add a no-follow tag, or is their something even better?

    thanks for all your help

i use a mambot that adds rel="nofollow" and/or target="_blank" to all external links on the content pages.
just search for mambot "nofollow" on the joomla extensions repository.

note, this is for J 1.0 don't know if it's available on the J 1.5 flavour.

Hey, thanks for the quick response.

Yeah, I'm using joomla 1.5, and I found that plugin for the 1.5 series, only problem is that it's not parsing all of my outgoing URL.

I'll have to see if I can track down the issue.

    Thanks though

What are you trying to accomplish by "parsing all outgoing urls"? Are you trying to do anything other than just add the tag? If it's just to add the nofollow tag, I normally just add it manually on my Joomla sites. If I bother. It is nice to know that there is a mambot for it. That will save me some typing.

this mambot only ads the tags to content pages and static content pages, it doesn't add to stuff generated by 3rd party components or modules, maybe there's where you don't see the tags being generated.

Yeah, basically, when I create my articles, there's alot of out going links to various supporting sites, which I don't want all the spiders indexing as outgoing links.
