    Hi All,

Over the past few months, I've spent some time understanding how people are obtaining expired domains to use in their PBN's. From what I've seen, you're probably using (one or more) of the following methods:
1.) Purchasing domains from a reseller - probably the quickest route, but can be quite expensive, especially if you're building a large PBN.
2.) Scouring a site like expireddomains.net - cheap, but there's heavy competition and it's difficult to find valuable domains.
3.) Manually searching and sorting through dead links with scrapebox, xenu, excel, etc. - least expensive, but tremendously time consuming.
4.) Using a homegrown automated system that crawls for dead links - very effective, most of the big names in the PBN game are doing it. Unfortunately if you're not a developer or don't have the cash to hire one, this is out of the question.

I've built an automated system that works like this:
1.) Input a list of search queries that are likely to return sites with expired domain links
2.) Scrape the top X number of search results from google
3.) Analyze the outbound links for each result
4.) Identify domains that are available to register
5.) Check the backlink profiles, MOZ or MajesticSEO metrics for available domains

I'm currently working to turn this system into a subscription service that give you full access to your own domain mining system.

If anyone is interested, I'm hoping to open up a beta to a select group of BHW members around the end of June/Beginning of July.

If you're interested, feel free to comment or send me a PM.

Thanks for your interest. I plan on creating multiple pricing tiers, with varying levels of functionality. Pricing will depend largely on hosting costs, because this is pretty resource heavy process. I'm hoping to be able to offer the most barebones level in the $199-$299/month range.

In expired domain you will never find valuable domains as good domains are sold before domains expired in auctions.
So, better make tools that scrape auctions and find good domains.

This is true. When you visit the site of most registrars, you will see a link to make an offer for the domain

This may be true for domains that have recently expired or will soon expire, but there are tons of domains that have expired in the past that weren't scooped up at auction, because the practice has only recently become commonplace.

Source: I have definitely found valuable domains with this method.

Sure! This sounds like an awesome tool and I would be more than happy to do testing for that.

Update on the Status of the Project:
I've got a prototype up and running. I've decided to make this a desktop tool, so there won't be a recurring charge for the base version released (However, there may be a 'Pro' version available later, that pulls data from the MajesticSeo paid API). My plan is to launch the beta by July 12th. I'll only be accepting 5 spots, so if you're interested, please drop me a PM with the following info:
-Have you built a PBN before?
-Are you building PBN's for yourself or clients?
-What metrics do you use to determine a URL is worth buying?
-Are you willing to provide feedback and participate in two 30 minute Skype sessions during the beta?
    -Your location
    -Email and Skype contact info
