I will be turning back to live old domain, that was down for more then 1 year if i am not mistaken (i didnt really follow), it still have PR5, at some point of time it was the most popular website of its kind in the world, it had 100 000 uniq visitors per day (big income), due to its nature none of them come from google becouse google was banning pages becouse of legal threats.

now i know some content can still be find, so this shows me whole domain aint banned.

So my question: what you think i should do with domain ? i am planing of course to put there totaly legal stuff, nothing tricky. Should i put autoblog on it and see if things gets indexed?

Currently the domain has only 1 "sort of be back soon" page without any links.

Turning this sort of domain alive may prove immense beneficial for you if you can properly monetize it. Still a PR 5 and this much users!! Definately you are very lucky frn. If this domain still has approx 1 million users per day then why are you thinking about indexing or crawling. Just go ahead put some content and gadgets there and try to monetize it as much as you can while using various monetizing methods.

When it comes to autoblog, you might have heard about the latest update from Google "Panda Upate" and I don't think so that autoblog is going to help you indexing the pages.

Sorry but you don't know what you are talking about.

iknowjack : Mind sending me a PM with the niche? Would you want to sell it, or its authority via links?

today i put domain back live...after being dead for 1 year (12 years old domain) i see it still have 10k uniqs and 40k pageviews
what i will do now is create (with autoblog) some relevant (but legal) post, based on keyword searches that people do on website

this was sort of ....download website for...lets say patches for all sort of software. to keep it still relevant, it will be still about software, but clean post, all legal.

domain has large amount of backlinks (totaly natural backlinks made over period of 10 years). now i will try to make mr big G to start again indexing content (website had over 100k pages, majority of them were in google years ago, before G started throwing out page by page based on complaints)

Use it in a backlink network, where a high PR matters or sell it.

    anyone knows why this happens:
    i do site:mydomain.com
i can see my 1 day old pages are already there, with proper page titles and descibtions (stated its from 1 or 2 days ago)
BUT if i click on "cached" next to my domain, i get:
    Suggestions:
Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
    Try different keywords.
    Try more general keywords.
    Try fewer keywords.

there were some changes with brining back to life my domain (i used limited number of seo work on this my domain)

today i noticed it apears again in google when i do search: domainname.tld
google is however still blocking it from all other searches that are different then :domainname.tld

number of indexed pages is now over 3k (site with old content had from 100-200k pages in google, before google start blocking them becouse of complains from ....well lets say basicly from all top software companies)
i guess completed block was in effect since minimum 3 years ago (i think i cant say this is sandbox right? this is something different)

anyway website now aint anymore problematical since i am trying to get hits to it from google. in last days number of hits increased and i guess this become to much for shared webhosting (with old content website wasb on some extremly expensive offshore hosting, now its simply on godaddy)

on my inquires to godaddy i got today this answer:
So i wonder what kind of mysql limits have other companies ? do you know ? for example hostgator ?
btw: website aint making any money yet (althought it got a few k of uniqs a day, but those are visitors that were already on website a zillion times), so i dont want to put it yet on some dedicated or semidedicated server

EDIT: i just dig out hostgator has only 25 limit (compared to godaddy 200)
