Any idea how this guy got his video to #1 on Google?

I was researching some competition for a Clickbank product I am promoting. I saw that when I type in the product name on Google, the very first result is a YouTube video about the product. This video consists only of screenshots from the sales page. No voiceover, no music, nothing. It's only about 30 seconds long. There is zero content that you can't see by just going to the sales page for this product. The description is something generic, like "check out this amazing product here!" And a TinyURL with the guy's affiliate link. The only tag for the video is the word "bonus." It has a ton of views and likes.

How the hell did he get it to #1 in Google? It looks like he just made that crappy video and added a bunch of views/likes, and he's outranking sites with excellent SEO and keyword-rich high-quality articles. Is it really that easy??

It should be the views and likes that gave him the boost.
How many views and likes does he have?

If he botted this shit out of the video and got a lot of views, along with lots of backlinks, it might be possible. How many views/likes does the video have?

I am sure it's because of the Likes and Views. Why don't you get a video done for yourself and then purchase some views from Skittles and test out everything yourself?

I wish it is easy like that...I am not sure if 500 bookmarks and simple likes and views will work that easy. Depends on the competition for the specific keyword but in general I wish it was that easy.

Check his backlinks by typing his video's url on google and see how many backlinks he has. You can create the same backlinks as his to outrank him/other competitors or just blasts 10k xrumer/scrapebox backlinks and you'll be #1 hotspot in Google within a week or two.

YouTube is excellent for this sort of thing. Even if you can't rank #1 for a keyword in the Google search results, you CAN appear on the front page of Google via YouTube. I have done this for several keywords.

I create a video for my niche, add the appropriate tags, boost the views and comments (at least 20K views; just make sure you have more views than anyone competing for your keyword). In the video, I direct viewers to my website (which is generally on page 2, 3 or 4 of Google, depending on the age of the site - it some cases, the site is also on the front page).

So, essentially, I appear right below SEO site #1 even if my site is still growing in the SERPs. This is one of the glories of YT marketing.

Just make sure you create a compelling video that can also grow organic views alongside your botted views and you're golden.

Now, get out there and make it happen, dude.

So you didn't throw any backlinks at the video, just 20k views? And would you mind sharing with us where you get your views and comments?

I got the same results a couple months back, when magic views was hot I made a vid 'youtube view bot' and uploaded it to youtube, I sent 100k views with magic views, then I went to ping farm and used their ping tool and their rapid indexer. I would also send a little views each day and use the rapid indexer here and there. My video stayed on the very first result for 'youtube view bot' for over a month or so and I made over 200 from it...

edit: damn black hatters keep stealing my video, just found one of a Russian guy acting like my video is his screencast hahaha

Nope. The only backlinks would be from my own websites where I also embed the videos. I ping those pages, of course. I also host the video at other sites like Vimeo and such but I'm not sure that's a contributing factor (probably not).

I jumpstart all of my videos through free providers - the usual suspects (u2bviews, vagex, etc). When it was working, I used Viewet and Magic Views - and now I'm using theknown's new program Share YouTube Views.

But once the videos have a respectable amount of views, they do grow organically and the natural views come in.

I used to get all of my custom comments from Enhance Views but they stopped offering them. I now use u2bviews for the custom comments (I never used the generic ones offered by Vagex and Enhance Views because...well...they suck and are irrelevant).

EDIT: Also should be noted that I continue to throw views at the videos even after they're the top YT result in Google. I don't know if this helps - but I keep the views coming just in case.

To be honest, though...I'm not really sure that the likes play a big part in it. I seriously don't know. I always throw likes at them just in case (a reasonable amount - nothing ridiculous like 1,200 likes and 0 dislikes, of course). I also make sure that my channels have a lot of subs. That might play a part too.

I really should do some testing and see what's truly working. I do know that what I outlined above, however, works like a charm.

Somebody is gonna come and decide to flag that video down. That is what happens. If you go into a niche with competitors prepared to be flagged.

Doesn't the view velocity have to look consistent over time or at least stable? Just curious if these artificial views will cause video slaps down the road?
