I first got into web development 7 years ago by building a website for a clothing line I "Created". About a year into this I built a blog around the clothing line which got some attention from models and local musicians, this escalated into making it a "Digital Magazine" which I know is a oxymoron. Anyways long story short my early 20's were consumed by being a douche bag and promoting this like crazy, I had small partnership with Maxim, Playboy and a few other big sites through a network.

This allowed me to get interviews with a lot of facebook models that had 500k+ followings which we made post about our site, this resulted in good traffic but eventually all came to a close once our adsense was blocked for side boob.

I got a good job at an agency and stopped working on the site or paying attention to it. Now I am left with a site that has a lot of interviews, video content with some big names and 100k facebook fans. The downside is the name is terrible, the domain is terrible and the SEO at the time was horrid.

Iv noticed people only want sites that are currently profitable, is there any hope for making money on something like this? What would you do if you owned this site? I thought about possibly spamming out the 100k facebook fans we have with other content for a short turn around but this may be a terrible idea.

Does the site still get much traffic?

Either way I would say it is still worth trying to sell if the 100k fans are real. Plenty of other ways to monetize than adsense.

Outsource some posts and try to revive the site a little. Post the new posts and some of the better old posts to the fb page. Test out some monetization methods (other ad companies, cpa offers, amazon affiliates, etc.).

After at least 3 months of traffic and some revenue you can then try selling it.

were those facebook models had good physique ? If yes you can apply the twist of getting into fitness industry. Shit ton of money there but another level of competition. But you will have to begin from scratch or maybe re-build quite a lot of thing. If not there body get some info on their diet etc.

Would you possibly be interested in selling? I would be very interested in purchasing if the page is for sale? [email protected]
