First i wanted to say how grateful i am to be on this list and have the well rounded people and knowledge on this list. However, I am curious if there are actual people on this list that are making 10k or more a month with either affiliate sales or being a vendor on click bank. I am not looking for faked screenshots or people to bullshit on this, but to see if people are indeed doing this and if they wouldn't mind voicing their knowledge here.

I have seen different "gurus" speak about picking a large niche and other "gurus" say pick a smaller niche. Both sides make sense, but will all the marketing crap out there, it makes it hard to really determine the truth. On one hand you have the large general niche, where you have a large hungry market, more competition (could be to your advantage) and the smaller niche - ready to buy as there aren't as many solutions, less competition, but could run out of customers potentially. I know there are more reasons than this.

Opinions on this - Big or Small niche and why?

Also, i have seen the "gurus" mention about sticking with being an affiliate vs becoming a vendor. Again, i can see the pro's and con's of both sides.

Opinions on this - Affiliate vs Vendor and why?

I am writing this somewhat frustrated so i apologize in advance if stuff doesn't make sense. I am in a position now where i have to sink or swim and my arms are starting to get tired.

    Many thanks in advance.

I dont personally know anybody that do, but I can assure you it's possible. I'm a newb to affiliate marketing, but I've learning and discovering amazing results every day since February (when I started), and that alone is more than enough to allow me to believe that $10K+ a month is possible. Like yesterday: I found out how to optimize my website better than the average sniper website:)D), and how to immediately find real, high-pr backlinks that aren't DOMAIN high-pr backlinks. Plus many more things too, but I could make a diary of the things I've learned in a month's time.....

But my point is, there ARE people that make $10K, but I don't think they would share that with anybody here. I mean just look around.... Especially case studies and journals. There are people who make over $400 every DAY, and that's like 1.5 times more than $10K per month, if I guessed right.

Just look around and do your research.

Theres is no right or wrong way to do this. I think you are thinking and over-analyzing.

    Clear your mind!

This isn't about measuring dicks, this is about people who walk the walk and are making that kind of money. I don't want speculations, theory, or bullshit. I am looking for proven facts and information here by people who have done it and can answer honestly.

Honestly? Your first post came off very sincere, then you posted ^

How many people do you think have your intent on this forum?

"I want no ****sh1t, real sh1t, I mean the stuff the works" type attitude?

The silver spoon attitude, very rarely gets silver fed to them; why?

"The real sh1t, the sh1t that works" takes time to learn and testing; that's why there are case studies, etc.. thats how Vendors sell their stuff- experience and emperical evidence through sweat equity which hopefully turns into monetary value.

Rather then asking people, "Hey, all you fakes don't bother posting" why don't you explain to the "real people making money" why you are worthwhile for them to share their ideas to?

Your post doesn't tell us if you're a good person, or what you plan to do with good information. You don't explain how you'll add value to the forum or help others; all you are asking is to "take"- there is no incentive to give.

Don't take my post as being negative, but a simple criticism that your approach to getting information provides ZERO benefit to the giver- which will lead to less probabilities of anyone wanting to provide something.

Here is the deal, i asked a couple of simple questions that i wanted honest answers for. Would it appeal to you if i would of started the thread saying " Hey i tried affiliate marketing and i suck ass at it ... help me!" Then i would be like a ton of others asking for a handout. I just wanted to know some honest answers that i can't seem to get answered.

I don't care who answers, but you and i both know that some people will answer with some "best guess" answer with no real world experience. That is not what i am after.

So i should of stated if i am a good person and what i am going to do with the information? Are you serious?? Don't you think by asking those questions (legit questions) that will benefit others on the list?? It will hopefully encourage the "super affiliates" or whatever you want to call them to come out and maybe offer up a little advice.

Everything in your post was negative and you didn't offer anything useful.
This is why i almost didn't post, as i would get people like you putting up bullshit and just trying to raise your post count. Well done.

First of all, I am new to affiliate marketing and this forum as a whole. I have done much reading on this and many other websites the last few months and have created a successful Amazon Affiliate website in which Clickbank products are reviewed and featured on the site in addition to the Amazon product reviews. My audience is small due to the particular niche but I do make sales of those Clickbank products. While not in the $10k/mo. scope, i can see that with the right amount of effort and the proper niche, those results are not too difficult to reach.

There is no cookie cutter method, it comes down to level of effort. The $10k/mo. crowd (theory) probably creates a Clickbank campaign and then replicates the process on another campaign, possibly in the same or similar niche. As time goes on, a successful Clickbank advertiser may choose to sell their entire website (on Flippa?) with just several months of income to show. Successful sites can sell for anywhere from $1000 to upwards of $20k or more...do this several times in a year and there's your $10k/mo.

The biggest questions you need to ask are not opinions about whether one method/strategy works best as a whole and why, but what level of effort you are willing to give your project. This, combined with good niche marketing techniques and SEO will allow you to succeed in your expectations.

My advice, from experience, is to start as an affiliate. This is the same advice that Clickbank recommends. Choosing a larger niche will be beneficial as the general keyword term traffic should already be there and you will probably receive some monetary gains just by being another piece of the pie. With a start like this, you can then narrow your target audience or even expand it to tweak your desired traffic numbers. From here, you will learn through trial and error which methods work to maximize your earnings potential.

As time goes on and you experience your own personal success or failure in this lucrative arena for marketing, you will then be more informed as to whether becoming a vendor is the right Clickbank model for you. Hopefully, along the way, you will also meet fellow affiliate marketers that may be interested directly in promoting some of YOUR products. This would be considered a solid investment in time and education as you work towards your own $10k/mo. goals.

Best advice...just start. Find a product you like and start promoting it. The sooner you do this, you will learn quickly if Clickbank is the IM niche for you. Just when you think all your efforts weren't worth it, start another project...and another...and another...

Before you know it, you will see success.

Hey thanks for your input on this and i feel like you put some good information out there for all of us. The biggest hump for a lot of people (me included) is executing and just doing it and perfecting the method later.

Well mate.. times are changing.. i used to make 1000 dollars a day from a single product in clickbank (the satellite direct tv alone). It is when google was kind to domain names with the keyword 'streaming' in it. And people were crazy about watching their favorite sports online. I made well over 100k dollars in less than 4 months through clickbank and CPA lead alone.

However after google took down these sites, I changed my strategy to focus on tv shows, by running a tv shows website by providing information/schedule and review of top tv shows and monetized the site through promoting netflix (google affiliate network). Made close to 10k per month through a single site just by promoting netflix free trail. Got my adsense banned, along with it went the opportunity of netflix, so turned to products like graboid and other stuff, nothing worked out.

So I quit that industry, turned to weight loss, fitness, yoga and micro niche sites, but did not make even 4000 dollars a month. However, I saw incremental earnings every month. but was not satisfied, so tried my hand in flippa as I have well over 40 sites, and made some quick bucks selling sites.. while selling the sites, I sold my services along with it.. however I did not find that system sustainable. However I sold all my micro niche sites.

Finally I was left with few authority sites and the money I saved (I lead a very simple life). With my savings i started a company that provide services like web development, mobile website development, SEO and reputation management to offline clients. Registered it in Delaware and in India. The model is sustainable, and now I am diversifying in to other fields like organic herbs production and investing in real estate.

Making money is not the real issue, even bullshit can take you to the top, however staying there is the real thing, and for that you need adaptability. Affiliate marketing is my first love so I still continue doing affiliate marketing, but it now constitutes only 20% of my income.

All the best don't lose heart, the world is full of opportunities if we are willing to open our eyes.
