Hi, I setup a shopify store, trying to dropshipping ebay products...the biggest problem is 80% of the customers abandonate the checkout when they see that the delivery is on 30-45 days. How do you guys handle it? Thank you,
I advise you to choose a better niche. Something which has fans willing to wait 30 days to get their items. Btw , how much are you making on average now?
Something to note in my experience from shopify is that it is very common to have 20-40% of your shopping carts abandoned. I guess it depends on the niche, but I think people just like to see how much somethingwill be all together, with shipping / tax etc.
Unless your product is very unique or has the most amazing price ever, very few people now days are willing to wait 30 to 45 days for anything, since most everything they need or want is available almost immediately! So at best you probably have 2 options! One, not recommended but people do it continually, is to lie about the delivery time, and make an excuse later why the shipment is delayed or carry the item in your own inventory.
People are always attracted to a deal that is better. The problem I do think you are facing is that you do not have a better deal that will keep the customers at hand. On the same issue of delivery, you can be able to explore other alternatives that are available so that you offer the best to the clients. It is all about being smart in what you do.
You have to try the service or product before marketing. If the product or service it is worth re-sale and quick support. Then you remarket
