All the keyword tools I use just give more keywords based on the one I enter.. example:

    bodybuilding (original keyword)

    bodybuilding diet
    bodybuilding workout
    bodybuilding program

    etc

what I want is to enter "bodybuilding" and find keywords like:

    build muscle
    powerlifting
    six pack abs
    stronger biceps

is there any tool that can help me do this?

google wonder wheel used to be amazing.. but it's been gone for a long time and I don't know how to branch out and find new keywords anymore..

    please help

Thanks for the suggestions! I've tried Google keyword planner maybe I didn't use it right though. I'll check out some tutorials.

I'm trying to find similar niches outside of the niche I'm already targeting.

So if bodybuilding is my keyword I want to see stuff like powerlifting and crossfit etc, I don't want bodybuilding related keywords. That was the cool thing about the wonder wheel it let you branch out into other very similar niches and saved lots of research time.

I signed up for Keyword Revealer it seems like a really nice tool, it doesn't do what I need though (from what I can tell so far).

There is nothing quite like it right now. I do miss those days where you could get all the LSIs and related keywords with a few button clicks.

Scrapebox is very good for this, as is SEMrush, and Spyfu.

I also browse book titles and content for keywords + don't forget ye olde dictionary and thesaurus.
