Just starting out in SEO and seems like all the big guys use GSA or SEnuke or both. Are there any free alternatives?

I don`t think a serious "big guy" use SEnuke anymore.

For free You should use Your both hands ..and a lot of time..

since you have a GSA signature, do you think it is worth the money? There is just no way doing things manually can compete with automated. I'd spend a year doing what something automated could do in a day.

No, there are no any free alternative to GSA or SENuke. Now a days GSA is more useful than SEnuke, as senuke, magic submitter, etc.. were useful for web2.0. But now there are a lot of other latest solutions for that purpose.

The manual link building is FREE way. You can generate backlinks from hundreds of authority backlinks daily in few months. :D

Imo it's a different approach. You shouldn't be trying to do GSA SER's way of backlinking manually anymore than you would try to do the manual way with SER...if that makes sense.

As far as your actual question, you need to realize that you need more than just $89 for SER in order for it to function properly.

    You need:

    • Proxies
    • Emails
    • Content (bsically in the form of content software as you will want to kill yourself manually writing all the necessary content)
    • Captcha Breaker (not really a must since you can use a pay-as-you-go captcha service but this will add-up real fast when using SER)

Also, you will probably want to get a VPS sooner rather than later.

So what I wanted to point out is that even if you somehow find a free tool like SER, it takes a lot of other stuff to run it properly.

I wouldn't even recommend any tool for Tier 1, if you want GSA for lower tiers and can't afford it, get their trial for both SER and Captcha Breaker. One week of continuous running should build a lot of links.

Thanks. And I agree manually doing them are two very different things. I don't have access to any high PR blogs or any guest posting methods. I know people who have been doing it for years find that easy, but it isn't easy to just break right into those things.

The alternative is something like GSA. I'll just use services in BST until I start earning enough to purchase GSA on my own. Thanks!

Unless you actually find a decent provider in the BST you're a bit in a Catch 22 because 99% of them are crap and will only hurt your site. I don't know where you're from but can't you really miss the $200?
