I am looking for something that can pull content to my OWN forum through keywords or yahoo answers. I've looked for these mods but most of them are outdated ones (2007/08) which do not work.
Are there any new ones which can do these?

Yea, I've used sharpleech before and BTW it's the only working program that actually posts something to the forum automatically. Though, the functionality is limited and it can only leech from warez sites. I've tried creating plugins for it for other forums with mixed results. I'll check the other one out but it looks a bit outdated.
    Thanks.

I've tested the vbulletin one doesn't work with the latest one and the previous 5 stable versions.

Did you miss the memo about the negative effects on duplicated content? No member will stay on your forum once they find out most of the content was copied.

that's what i'm suspecting. i'm thinking of adding a forum to my website to boost traffic. i think i'll just have to breakdown and source of the posting until i get ready to go

Well, I just want enough content to actually start advertising and getting real members and get it rolling. Would you join a fully empty forum or a forum which has some topics?

I agree, as long as you aren't relying upon G for your main source of traffic.

I've come across forums populated with threads from other places, (I've even seen BHW threads replicated on other forums).

I'm bumping this topic because I still have no luck finding one which works.
