Any experiences with content="noindex" vs. not having it for tag pages?

I have a blog on which I usually add 3-6 tags per post, but mostly for user-friendliness reasons as opposed to SEO. Currently I have the tag pages (domain.com/tag/tag-keyword-here) with content="noindex, follow" in the meta.

I am currently deciding on whether I should keep it that way or that maybe it would be beneficial to let Google index the tag pages as well. This blog is 100% white hat, I am writing for the end users not the search engines, but of course I want to keep Google happy as well. Any tips?
