Have you gotten them to rank? better than .infos? is there a geoip strong penalty on .me's, though?

Had one ranking extremely well for over 100 keywords in a pretty competitive niche which brought me in over $100 a day for about 5 months... it dropped to #400 last week, actually... but that's another story.

On the other hand, my dad's non-IM site music site is a .me domain and he ranks higher than 10+ year old domains and I haven't even done anything to it besides some on-page tags... so I honestly think the domain doesn't make much of a difference, to some extent.

I have one that is #2 for a pretty competitive keyword, like brutang said the extension doesn't really matter all that much.

yes.. from day 1, pretty much all day every day. It's a long story but I don't think that's the reason.. there were other things I probably shouldn't have done. Like I said, that's another story I don't want to get into :)
