Any digital nomad in Dubai?

Thinking of relocation there maybe in a year
Interesting to know mostly about how you spend your spare time there
and overall experience

It depends on if this is a move forward or backward to you and if you can finance on the long haul.

Family friends worked there as expats in construction decades ago and made nice money (and frequent traveller miles). As employees of a European company. They left 15 years ago and never returned.

Some SEO guys from Europe I know of moved to Dubai last year as their expired domain selling business over here went just too well. After the recent Google update, they are fighting hard to get money for the return flight. There is no social security for foreigners.

i left SEO totally due to this

honestly, can't take it seriously anymore, you build and grow solid project , put all efforts and then its gone.
imho.
hope other active seo guys won't face such shit..

These are serious things you need to consider before moving anywhere. In particular to such an expensive place as Dubai.
