The way I understand things are that it makes no sense to do a DMR if you are faking the traffic referrer using CPA redirector.

The bottom line is, whether you spoof/fake/blank the referrer, you will still get in trouble if the advertiser catches you. I've been caught 3 times by the advertiser. Here is what happened:

Catch #1) Got 20% of my leads taken away (scrubbed) = lost a little over $1,000, but no network ban

Catch #2) Got all of my leads taken away = lost about $1,300, but no network ban

Catch #3) Kept 100% of my leads, no network ban.

If you rotate your traffic around and don't make TOO much in any single acct, you should be fine.

BTW I use CPA redirect (spoofing/faking).

You are not safe if your leads are not converting at all. So far I got ban from 2 networks where I use cpa redirector

    Network 1 - 1st day Ban :D ( Made $85 )

Network 2 - First month made around $160 got paid ...second month made around $800 and got ban

Now I stopped using Cpa Redirector till I learn how to be always safe.

what was the reason for the ban?

    did your referer leak?

reason i ask, if the offers does not convert, ur usually asked to stop promoting .. not banned... first time i ever heard this whilst faking referer!

Yea, I am curious about this too... I have not been banned yet, but i just started hitting it hard and use CPA redirector for EVERYTHING! I'm not really doing anything blackhat per-se and my leads should convert fine. How are they "catching" you... I do know tho that I am getting scrubbed up the wazoo!

I havent started promoting any CPA offers yet so they have nothing to catch. I am just wanting to everything in my power so when I do start promoting I am like the incredible hulk running from the military!

Anyone had this problem? This happened a while ago so I never really figured it out, kinda forgot about the offer since it wasn't doing well - I was faking the referer using CPA R, but when I would check my stats, there would be more clicks than impressions... As you can guess this startled me slightly- any idea why CPA R would be able to get the clicks to register in my stats but not be able to register the same, if not more number of impressions as well?

Uh oh this worries me. How does CPA-R leak the referrer? Were you guys using the WP version, or standalone?

I did some simple testing with the standalone version, and iframing whatismyreferrer.com to check the referrer, and it showed my domain as referrer so everything looked nice and clean.

It all depends on the traffic you send through CPA-R.

Like said earlier when your leads donĀ“t convert because they were misled in signing up you are bound to get complaints.

I use CPA-R to hide my (in the eyes of the merchants) "illegal" advertising and promotion.

The leads are still of value and genuine only the way I got them to the merchant breaks their TOS.
