Phahaha, haven't laughed so hard in ages
There's not a single a country, i'd never go to (unless it's really dangerous), but there are many i'd never live in, simply because of the cultural differences, poor healthcare or it's too dangerous and human life doesn't worth much. I have not yet left the old continent, but i travelled to quite a few countries within Europe. There isn't a single one, i wouldn't go back to.
Add the countries to this list that i have missed reading this thread:
China ( almost the winner )
Middle east or Asia in general. ( too general )
France ( Paris ).
I have tried to put them in relevance order, most commented., please feel free to ad, reorganize, on your opinion after reading this thread so we can all have a decent view in wich countries we may be more cautious.
Very informative thread by the way.
OP post is funny.. these people seem very strange.. but every nation has their own kind of freaks
Chinese has the worst behaviour or attitude there is as far as my experience could tell. I haven't visited a lot of countries though.
to be honest most Europeans don't even think of gypsies as being Asian .in Europe most the time gypsies are classed as Romanian and especially in the UK irish. To be honest in the UK 99% of the time if people are speaking about gypos they mean the ones from Irish decent. I don't think there's many Asian gypos in europE tbh
oh i meant the whole OP post was pretty funny
China can vary a lot depending on where you are. If you go to downtown Hongkong or Shanghai you wont experience such shit THAT often.
ON the other hand countryside is simply a hell. No manners, foreigners are human attractions, people shamelessly take pics of you or touch you, wtf?
Still most bizzare thing I saw was a woman walking hand in hand with her 5 year old. Suddenly they stop, she pulls his pants down and lifts him over a trashbin. The kid then shits from a meter distance in the air into the bin.
Then she puts him down, no wiping or nothing.... pulls pants up and continues walking with him.
Other then this Paris is also a place I wouldn't want to go. Dirty city and metro, weird people, lot of criminal activities. Most people look depressed. They prioritize helping their own first instead of someone speaking English for example in public places. At least this was my impression.
This doesn't answer the OP's question, considering Africa is a CONTINENT made up of 54 recognized countries; And is not a country. Not only have you not been there from your replies, experiences would differ in each of these countries.
Same for Asia and the Middle East as they are comprised of more than 1 country.
Guys, don't be put off if you were planning on visiting these places, get a more fair opinion as certain users like to discriminate with their views online.
Not very informative, as it's based on a couple of users experiences in a country. Which of these places have you visited with a negative experience, or are you just following the crowd?
Correct; The perfect place for users to generalise and prejudice against certain regional entities, based on a bias; Without any adequate explanation or reasoning why.
Very good that you know that they are continents and not countries. I didnt know that there was a rule that one has to mention a country and not a continent.
My home country is filled with People from these continents. Hence, I know what its like living with them. Also these areas where they live in my country, my hometown for example, has become an exact copy of their homeland. So i can of course speak on The matter.
I understand that you are Hurt and emotional by my post. But please dont let your emotions control you like This.
IF you dislike This thread and peoples opinion so much, then are you reviving it from The dead?
All depends on income, a rich family could visit the nicest place here in south africa and have the time of their lives, whilst a poor one would have a shit experience with people in a poorer part of the country.
Also kind of depends on luck too. Sometimes you can just be unlucky and meet really awful people whilst travelling. It's part of the game
Why pay 3x, when I can pay 1/3 for EVERYTHING in Bulgaria?? Yes, toothpaste and hookers included
What you mentioned is may be true, but there are bad things all over the world.
LOL! I’ve been to China many times for business and everything you said was true! The kids can pee anywhere is streets! Wtf!!
You forgot the door slamming in your face at malls or stores! Here in US or in Western Europe we hold the door for people that either leaving or behind us but in China this never ever happens! I almost broke my nose once and I became a door man several times holding the doors and people were just passing without thanks or ..
lots! not because i didn't like them just feel that I don't think will get the chance to go again.
weird shit happens all over the place under one circumstance or another.
one of the weirdest things I have seen was in Udaipur where Octopussy was filmed,
That big lake with the white hotel in the middle where Octopussy lived,
We were staying in a hotel with a lovely view of the hotel and part of the lake where we were staying had dried up allot so there was water in large puddles etc and a lot of green moss, slime etc.
Was early in the morning and having my breakfast on the veranda overlooking the dried up lake, and the Octopussy hotel and on one bit there were cows grazing and doing their business, another area was a man having a shit and in another bit was a man brushing his teeth
Did freak me out with it all going on at the same time, but I love India one of the most amazing places I have been to
Been to 19 countries (in Asia, Middle East, Europe multiple times etc). Shit happened to me in Vietnam - but now that I think of it, it's the way we choose to travel. For Vietnam I chose to travel on my own - the result was horrible as I had to deal with unprofessional people, getting mugged etc. So that was the last time I'd ever visit an unknown country on my own agenda. I'd now always choose a tour package from a good travel agent and enjoy only the best any country has to offer. P.S. Saw Turkey being mentioned; spent 9 days there on a tour - from Ankara, Cappadocia, Istanbul etc. - best so far.
It is his opinion, why are you so offended by his opinion?
At least 5 people told that they saw people pissing and shitting in front of them on the street...
I will never again go in Croatia (as tourist), they hate Serbs so fucking much. I was not feeling safe at all. I was in few biggest towns and in every of them you can see a lot of nazzi symbols and messages ( usually against a serbs, jews and minorities). Few of my Croatian friends were in Serbia (Belgrade) and they had totally different experience here.
Tbh their towns on the sea are really beautiful and if you from the west they will probably be extreme friendly to you (especially if you are from USA or Germany).
Reason: Negative ROI
Man honestly it is not that bad, I live in Cjina too. I am from Europe, and Shangai is way cleaner than Europe, people seem a bit addicted to their phones and most of them seem to be really shy.
One thing I love is that we get invited to free drinks in every single nightclub.
Also, have never seen so many Porsches and Maserattis in my life. Just these 2 models, don't know why they don't buy different brands.
I feel sorry for Sweden for having you as its citizen........ I have many good friends from Sweden who are nothing like you.
