    Hey guys,

I'm planning to set up a site, but i'm worried that g@ypal will screw me.

Here's an example scenario : I use a verified paypal account to receive payments from a CPA network ( Blamads etc ) and use the same account to send payment to my own affiliates.

Any chance of getting limited if I only send payments to verified users?

    Thanks!

If your g@ypal is verified with a bank account I think they don't care and let you do what you want, because when there are problems they have your address : )

Don't trust them, don't keep any more money in them than you absolutely have to. PP is not a bank, it is a business, and as such, does not have to follow any banking regulations. I could talk your ear off about the horror stories you hear, most people scrape by alright, but some just get screwed, and there's *nothing* you can do unless you can afford to sue them.
eg: putting a 90 day (3 month!!) hold on 30% of funds received if you have website payments ability, even if you don't use it. (WTF??)
: freezing and suspending random people's accounts due to "questionable" activity, without explanation, demands, or anything, and never giving the money back
: recent things about requiring 501c3 for developers to receive a donation, although you do NOT have to be a nonprofit to accept donations, you just have to have the 501 if you are doing tax deductible donations -> screwing over developers royally

I use them for critical stuff, or for people I don't care if they actually get the money. I'll accept money via PP if it's something I can afford to wait for 3 months on in the worst case scenario.
