I have a source that will send me a daily news feed of brand new articles from various sources in a javascript feed to my website/blog for any related keywords I choose as soon as the articles are posted on the web.

What effects might that have on my blog's SEO? Will google not count it towards my rankings or ignore it when the bot searches for content?

Search engine spiders cannot read JavaScript so if I understand correctly and the feed content is displayed using JavaScript then the spiders won't even see it - so there will be no SEO affect.

If the content is javascript generated, then it will be ignored by all spiders and will not affect your SEO.

As a word of caution: Just be careful as google may consider this a form of cloaking, depending on your usage, and may deindex you if they think it's against their TOS.
