I generally use iMovie or Sony Vegas but I need to get three pieces of video blended together smoothly now and all I have is After Effects. Basically, the transition between two of the video clips is extremely grainy rather than dissolving nicely and I have no idea why because it's worked fine on the other transition. If you have any suggestions or could even take a quick look it would be amazing! Thanks in advance! Alex

Whats your settings? I usually find adding special.Gaussian blur helps blend them

Basically, I've add two keyframes and overlapped the clips.

Then, I set the second keyframe at 0% opacity so that the opacity goes from 100 -> 0 and gives me a fade.

Itching to get working, does anyone know what's causing the problem?
