Any adwords Specialist?

    Got 100+ clicks in 60k impressions. CTR is only 0.18%
    0 clicks converted. Is there anything i am doing wrong?

    Is this search or content network?

    For search ads, you should be aiming for at least 2% CTR...How good are your ads? Do you mention the keyword in the title, are the keywords relevant to what you are advertising?

    As for conversions, it could be loads of things....Your landing page, the offer, the keywords you target, etc.

    Using Search networks. Ads are fine, keywords are included in ad title.

    Seems you are using your keywords as "broad" try [exact] keywords and then scale your ads later once you improve your CTR and conversions. Also donot forget to add negative keywords to avoid getting unnecessary impressions and clicks

    You should add Negative keywords, See what keywords are working for you and what aren't doing any good, and remove them., add em' to negative keywords and avoid getting unwanted impressions

    If you are going to bid on exact match only, then it will significantly limit your traffic, so make sure to add plenty of relevant keywords, if you are going to stick just with exact match.

    Usually it's a good idea to bid phrase and exact as well. I know BingAds got something called as "broad match modified", where you can essentially bid on broad-match keywords, but you can specify that certain words MUST be included in the search terms or otherwise your ad won't be triggered - this can save a lot of money and attract highly targeted visitors. Check if Adwords has got something similar...

    The CTR depends on:
    1. Ads Effectiveness
    2. Targeting Keywords

    Are you targeting the right keywords? Are your ad copies are attractive enough to catch viewer's attention?

    And the Conversion depends on:
    1. Targeting Keywords
    2. Ads effectiveness
    3. Landing Page
    4. Ad relevance

    Your ad should be relevant to the landing page. Your landing page should be well optimised.

    Check for the keywords people actually searching, try different ad copies for the same landing page, make use of negative keywords, optimise your landing page.
