I'd suggest also looking into Twitter, only been running a twitter account for a few days but the users are a lot more engaged than facebook.

As for SEO, ensure you're running an SEO plugin like Yoast, it will provide direction for SEO optimisation rating each post (unsure if you can install plugins on blogspot?). If you can't install, I'm sure there's some browser extensions you can look at installing to give you similar information.

I suggest you start the SEO on a site you own, not a blogger site. You'll gain better control of the optimization and the site. Then just start getting authority links to it (guest blogging, buying links, building a PBN, etc)

It would be better to get your own hosting space instead of relying on blogger's free hosting service.
By the time you realize that it's about time to get your own hosting space (shared or dedicated), you may need to do a lot of work. So while you haven't posted that much on your site, you may want to get your own hosting space. Traffic is no longer your problem, right?

Truthfully, even if I was into football I would have to say that the site is shit.
Ad.fly, and pop ups won't encourage your readers to stick around.

    1. Your logo is just plain font. Get a logo.
    2. Your URL structure is abysmal because you're on Blogspot.
    3. You're using Blogspot.
    4. You have way too many tags on each article.
    5. Remove the "Distributed By Blogger Templates" from the footer.
    6. Where's your privacy policy?
    7. Where's your copyright notice?
    8. Better yet, where is your navigation bar? How am I supposed to navigate your website?
    9. Your articles are short and uninformative.
    10. Your articles aren't targeting any keywords.
    11. Your favicon is the default Blogspot one. Change that.
    12. Your most recent post has a place-holder image. Fix that.
    13. You're on a subdomain. Get a TLD.
    14. Your author page isn't filled out.
    15. Black Hat World is already outranking you for your own domain because you mentioned it here (it didn't need to be linked).

For some reason, the site also took a while to load! This is why I avoid blogger like the plague :p Like the others have suggested, get a domain and hosting and if you don't have much knowledge on web development, get your website on wordpress. Plus, they have plenty of handy plugins and I've never personally come across a slow site that was running on wordpress. Anyway, wish you the best of luck :)

Get yourself a self hosted wordpress blog, free themes from the official wordpress site. Your sidebar ( Widget area is to long ) when scrolling down, so add more on your front page. Get rid of the popup
