Somewhat new to the affiliate marketing world and plan to jump in soon. Was wondering what the diff are in cloaking btw the Google, Facebook and Adcenter if anyone's had experience on the last one? I know some very successful IM's that do it on one and not the other. Seems like each one has it's subtle nuance's.

Many of the posts here I've seen are a little old. Any new or updated strategies on cloaking, cloakers, etc? Plan on using WordPress and 301 redirect to advertorials possibly. Have access to one cloaker but it's $999 plus $300 a month!!!

Was also wondering if anyone cloaks doing mobile marketing as well? Thx

I've also heard some say on here it's nothing something you would do where you collect emails and just direct link for a short term strategy but I've always heard the money's in the list and don't ever skip adding a lander where you prequalify traffic and collect an email address which I agree on. Any thoughts on that? Collecting emails along the way especially with retargeting is def a long term strategy in turn for a small sacrafice in short term gains.

each cloaker behaves differently but the purpose is one: driving users safe to your money site, and leave the ppc networks bots & manual reviewers to see the fake website.

Honestly, if you're new to affiliate marketing I'd spend some time learning about paid traffic, testing, and tracking for whatever networks you want to drive traffic with. Cloaking isn't a replacement for knowing how to test and track and manage campaign cashflow.

Thanks a lot for the reply. the amount of info. to process is overwhelming. i understand a lot more now and know that certain niches may call for it over others. the price is a huge issue with the cloaking platforms and also support. getting started it's an issue but something i think could be worth it but i agree there is a lot needed to know along with it. depending on the cost i believe i'm ready for it. now just looking at niche and the cheapest way to enter while still having money to test and track with. will let you know if i'm ready for it and need info. thanks again.
