So yesterday I'm driving near the freeway, when I spot a transient /drifter looking young dude holding up a sign that read : "Will do any kind of work for money..."

I first , like most times, I drove right by the guy and kept on going. However, something about the fact that this dude was young and the sign read: "Will do any kind of work for money..."

So in a instant my brain envisioned this young kid, clean cut, tall, blonde and fresh selling mobile sites and mobile apps. to targeted businesses.;)

Found out he's twenty years old and totally down for getting out there on the grind.

Soooo...I was wondering if anyone here has any recommendations and/or advice?

It's great that he's willing to get out there face to face, but it's really not that productive. If he's that much of a go-getter, put him to work on the phone doing some cold calls. I know a lot of people knock the cold calling, but it's a tried and true method of generating solid business.

That's really my only advice for the situation, especially if you're just getting your business off the ground. Once you guys get comfortable with each other and have established a good working relationship, maybe you can have him run appointments too. Although, if you find that he's a superstar cold caller, it would be better to keep him on the phone.

It depends whether he is competent enough to do that task or not. He needs money so he wants to do anything but does he have the potential for doing your task?
You have to check and assess his abilities before assigning any task to him I think.

    True,
I intend to do just that . In the short 10 minutes of exchanging info. I noticed a few things about him that gave me the notion of a natural salesman (and or bullshitter)

    I shall see further.
