I've been promoting a company for almost two months now, and haven't received any payment yet! I get the feeling that it's not going to happen. I've written to the company a lot now, but haven't received any reply from them at all.

Has anybody ever dealt with something like this? Any ideas what to do next?

Sounds like a red light if they are not replying. What company is it?

It's limelight. I wish they'd just reply to an e-mail of mine. But getting pissed on like this, it's just frustrating...

How much did you generate with them ?

Did you break any rules or something ? Did you send fraud ? Did you try calling them ?

They have to give you at least a reasonable reason.

What is the link btw ? I remember limelight cpa is out of business long time ago.

After googling a bit I see now, guess thread should be re-named "how to not get scammed if u'r an idiot". It was limelightcpm for me, and their page is broken now. I'm gonna contact the guy who set me up with them.

First do a bit of research about the network. Search about the network in affpaying. You can choose your network based on offers you want to promote, for this try odigger

If their page has been vanished from web then I suppose they were fake or fraud. You should enter a complain against them in cyber crime cell of your country.

This may not be what you want to hear but I would recommend you cut your losses and move on to a more reliable network. Research is key.

Affiliates tend to do this from time to time and just drop off the map...unless you mad some insane money with them I would suggest just move onto the next one..plenty of places you can check credibility and reviews.

Filing a complaint in your cyber crime department in your country, may be a tiring process and there's no assurance that you'll get paid for your services too. It's best that you take this as a lesson moving forward and throughly screen and research on your future affiliates. Best of luck, mate! :)

Report them to BBB and http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx then email them let them know you are reporting them, maybe then they will send you a payment.

Edit: In the future always make sure you speak to an Affiliate Manager before you even start your campaign. If you aren't getting a reply the company isn't worth promoting.

    Hey mate,

You can just leave that website and try different affiliate programs which paid regularly.

    Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear you got burned. There are a lot of new and fly-by-night programs out there. Safest to stick with the top rated networks which you can search for and find a number of lists and reviews. You'll see a handful come up again and again on the top lists and search results which will help you find the good ones.

    Good luck.
