Anti-Virus scanner? Which one do you guys use?

    Anti-Virus scanner? Which one do you guys use?
    Is Window Security Essential any good? (the one thats offered by Microsoft Windows for free?)

    It doesn't really matter, any skid with a fud malware can own you(me etc.)

    Check recent tests on net and you will see.

    I understand, but at least i will be protected from newbie-skids LOL.
    Even if I get owned, I dont want to get owned by them :)

    On a serious note, I have encountered a few websites with malware on them.
    And NOD32 had saved me a couple of times. So yeah.

    Everyone has their own favorite, most are pretty much on the same level and they are able to update databases within around the same time. I use Avast and Comodo and am happy with it. I would highly suggest not using AVG.

    Most of it comes down to the user anyways, just be safe and don't make mistakes that will allow you to be taken advantage of.

    Norton is a bloated memory hog.

    I use the same. I used to use Norton back in the day but I always had so many issues with them.
