another pr6 backlink method

okay guys i am brand new so i will help contribute this method that i use to get some backlinks to my sites. This coupled with some forum signature posts allows me to rank #2 on a 5,000,000 result term on google, with only the domain .com of the keyword ranking before me.

the basic idea is to create a simple screensaver or something and then have it submitted to download.com

1. make a screensaver, there are millinos of free screensaver software on the inet just search around. make one that is maybe holiday themed or something simple. for example, for halloween you can get some pics off the internet of candy corn and have them float aroudn the screen, use your imagination.

2. register an account on download.com to be a publisher.

3. MOST IMPORTANT STEP: when submitting your screensaver, put the name of the publisher as the keyword that you want the backlink as for anchor text and the website of the publisher to the website you are seoing.

4. you now have to wait about a week for download.com to put it up on their site but they almost always do as long as it doesnt look like spam. if you put a good legit description you should pass. as a bonus you can try binding some ppi but i never tested this.

final result: your screensaver will appear on downloads.zdnet.co.uk and a bunch of other places. on downloads.zdnet.co.uk, they will host it on the root of the domain like downloads.zdnet.co.uk/1012,001.htm and it will have a pr6 backlink with do-follow for the company name and website that you put. here is an example: http://downloads.zdnet.co.uk/0,1000000375,39366555s,00.htm notice where it links to "Sexy Free ScreenSavers" thhats how your keyword would look.

The link you provided, listed below, won't give you a PR6 backlink to your site. They put the download and details you provide on a brand new page. If you take a look at that page you'll see that it actually has PR0. Don't get me wrong this is a backlink from a good site and with time the page itself will gain PR.

Now if you're getting a link from a page somewhere else on that site which has a PR6 let me know because what you show and what you say aren't matching up.
