    Hello!

I'm lurking around for several month now and decided to sign in to ask for some help. It's my first post and I know that those kind of threads are opened per dozens each day, but as I couldn't find one who answered my needs I decided to open a new one. I completely understand that most of you won't give a ... and I apologize for the time you lost reading 'til here. Though, I hope that somebody has 5min to sacrifice to give me some advices.

    Here's me:
    - student
    - HTML/CSS knowledge
    - (very) basic JavaScript knowledge
    - willing to learn new stuff
    - summer vacations ahead and still no job
    - in need of some bucks to pay bills

In other words, I really struggle to find a summer job (like 50k students in a 150k city doesn't help) and I need to find a way to make a minimum of 500$/month to pay the most urgent bills. I tried Fiverr, but I've not much more to offer than some text writing and english/german/french translation (yeah, it doesn't really work out in other words).

As I don't have a job right now, I'm willing to invest some time learning new things. I don't dream of a ''free passive 50k income'', neither the ''big fast money''.

Could somebody out here give me advice on what I should try? Better learn how to put up whole sites and generate traffic or are there other ''easier'' tasks who may take more time but generate a smaller stable income? Are there simple things I could do with FB/Pinterest accounts with a lot of friends?

I know that there is no ''miracle formula'', but I don't want to become rich through internet marketing, just make some enough to pay some bills (15-20$/day).

My post is a bit repetitive, sorry for that, I still hope that somebody got my point and could give me some advices.

    Cheers

let us be honest - there is no way you can make $500 a month as a beginner.. most people struggle here to make even $20 a month.

the only way I can see:
    1) start offering SEO services to people/companies you (or your parents) know
    2) once you have a client - outsource a specialist (a reputable one) here... only go for one with experience, very good reputation and who does offer "page1 listing for 1 keyword or money back within 30-60 days".

    good luck
    3)

In a month after starting maybe not, but in about three months its an easily achievable goal if he's cut out for IM. Not giving up, Not afraid of failure, and sticking with something until it works(If you think it can work).

You are realistic in that you don't expect to make big money, but even small money can take a long time to start rolling in. I would buy a copy of scrapebox in the bst for $57 and start selling blasts on eBay. I'm not joking by the way you can sell backlinks/ebooks/seo services etc etc on eBay and most of the linters on there are not too web savvy they just want to see their small site rise in the rankings. You will get much harder customers on fiverr.

I decided to try some solutions provided by the unkwonymus' link. I've a question: I tried to set up a AdSense account by linking it to my freshly created Blogger account. When trying it, Google tells me ''Please register for AdSense directly from blogger'' . As I couldn't find this option, I decided to create a co.cc account and link it to my Blogger. I now fail at the point where I should redirect by Blogspot blog to my new custom domain. If anyone has a clue how I can get this straight...

Edit: I found it. I have no a Blogger and a .co.cc redirecting to this Blogger. I'm no trying to apply for AdSense with the .co.cc. Whatever.

Go to the money making section on the website and read as much as you can. Thereafter focus on the methods that suit your capabilities and interest. If you are ready to give your time to any particular method here, you can certainly make $500 a month or even much more.

Thing is, my capabilities are HTML/CSS and some JavaScript, in other words some very basic things who won't help me much.

Are you by any chance from Leuven/Belgium? Anyway, I came to this forum a few months ago, searched 2 to 3 method and tested them and now i'm earning about 10€ a day. So it is doable, the most important part is to not give up and keep testing new things!

    You Tube - Content Locking

    or

Offering some sort of service - or reselling services as your own.

Doubt you can do anything else fast enough - alot of things take time to earn money.

So I tried to submit my new Blogger to AdSense but as expected it got denied three times in a row:

''Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. After reviewing your
application, our specialists have found that it does not meet our program
criteria. Therefore, we are unable to accept you into our program.

We have certain policies in place that we believe will help ensure the
effectiveness of Google ads for our publishers as well as for our
advertisers. We review all publishers, and we reserve the right to decline
any application. As we grow, we may find that we are able to expand our
program to more web publishers with a wider variety of web content.

Please note that we may not be able to respond to inquiries regarding the
specific reasons for our decision. Thank you for your understanding.

    Sincerely,

    The Google AdSense Team''

Any idea what I could do?

Making money with adsense will take time especially if you use white hat techniques. For quick money in order to pay rents, you need to offer some services. Another option is to outsource.

I noticed you said you know some html/css. Can you design websites? Do you know any graphic work? If you are good at these, you can offer these services and earn enough to pay your bill. This is how I start off =)

Yeah, but right now to start I would be happy to get an AdSense account up. Any advice how I can get an approval? Once it got approved I can use it for every site I want right?

Once you have adsense approval you can add on lots of other sites. So the site you put forward should look good..have some content, some picures/decent graphics. also good if you have a contact form, a privacy policy and a terms + conditions. If its been rejected 3 times then you need to give it an overhaul before you try to submit it again

Hey, i see you mentioning your experience in HTML/CSS, that's cool, but don't worry too much about that. Take a day or 2 to learn about Wordpress or Joomla (I prefer Wordpress cause I thought Joomla was easy..... wordpress is stupid easy.) This is how alot of the IMers here crank out professionally done websites in mere hours. Your html skills will come in use when wordpress have little small bugs. Also, I recommend the SEO plugin from Yoast, it really helps a bit for onsite SEO.

Starting with blogger is great, i made the mistake of buying alot of emds (that weren't really emds, emds with 1-2 word-keywords dont work too well xD)

Get yourself some reseller hosting or a hosting affiliate link,
Knock yourself up a quick portfolio, go round local businesses
giving away free sites and make money on the hosting and maintenance.
