Hey guys,

I recently started a thread about my job change:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/d...liate-ama-and-help-me-choose-a-niche.1496589/
Right now, I'm doing dropshipping and I'm planning to get into affiliate marketing.

I've been researching niches for a few weeks now, and the decision has been made.

It's going to be another dropshipping affiliate blog. (do roast me)

The plan is a little different from everything that's currently out there.

Considering I've been doing dropshipping for over 3 years, I can create an incredible store in less than an hour, fully functional and ready to go.

The plan is to create dropshipping stores for people completely free of charge if they sign up for Shopify through my link. The only way for me to make money from this is if I build them a website that works and doesn't fade away after a month. I have to give value to receive value. In theory, it's a win-win situation. But it's pennies and this will not be my main money making source.

If this proves to be a successful project, I'll have dozens of dropshipping stores that I can use for user-generated content on the blog, which is a way for me to create very unique articles. Every article will be a journey with updates. No one wants to read generic content anymore. Anyone can find a tutorial on how to start and run a Shopify store in just one minute. However, very few offer what I'm planning to do, which is to transparently show people how dropshipping works in real life, on the websites I've created specifically for beginners.

Ask me anything.

Good luck with everything. How u plan to bring people?

Full white hat SEO, engagement ads and through a community I am part of (for social signals). It will be a long journey, that's for sure.

I think its a fantastic idea, and has the potential of really been a gold mine for you... Anyways all the best... Will circle back if I think of any question... GL

Nice journey will follow.
How are you planning to get clients/people looking to build a shopify store? Have you got a plan for traffic?

Edit: Just realized this is not a journey thread I think you should make one :)

My plan for traffic is simple, SEO + paid ads to get some social signals and traction.

This is a big topic but it comes down to this. If you plan to start doing dropshipping, what would you rather read:

“How to start dropshipping in 2023”

Or

“How Jake earned his first 10k per month with his dropshipping store?”

Unique content it the king. SEO is VERY hard if you rinse and repeat but if you create something people actualy read, SEO is a piece of cake.

If you have a good budget start with ads right away. SEO takes time ..

Your idea is really unique, you shouldn't give it away for free in a forum full of experts with $$ to implement your idea before you...but thank you anyway and good luck

I agree, but I believe in free knowledge and competetive advantage. I run 4 dropshipping stores and have created over 15 so far.

Replicating this would require at least the same anount of knowledge and experience. I would actualy love to see someone try this also. The thing with SEO and unique content, it can be hard to decode what google likes. But if you take a step back and just think like a plain human, it’s easy.

Let me break this down:

If I create a website about frogs having sex, it would be unique content. And it would never get any traction, nobody cares about that.

But if there are several websites talking about frog sex, we are all in business and we can all target the broad frog niche because we create a cluster authority topic and we let it live out there.

If I am the only one doing this type of content, I may attract some organic visitors but google will push most of them towards large authority websites. I am nobody. If there are several websites like mine, well… that’s another level because we have much greater chance of stealing visitors from the big boys.

Hope this makes sense.

I do have a budget, dedicated 5k for this project and I plan to burn it all on facebook, since this is where I am good at. I should be able to get decent social signals from this, don't need subscribers, just real shares and likes. Search engines listen to those signals and when combined with good on page SEO, you don't need to build any backlinks, they come naturally.

Fun story - this is how I got a wikipedia backlink for one of my dropshipping stores. Never lifted a finger when it comes to backlinks.

I just had an amazing idea!
Could it be possible to write a code or a plugin, that loads all affiliate links in the background, as soon as the visitor opens the page?
The goal is to insert all customer side cookies instantly.

He may or may not convert at the end, but the fact that he is sent off to the wild world with all our cookies inserted... well...
