what do u think abou the profitablility of a flash game site? I started one few days ago.

which type of advertising company is best for it? Ad networks or CPA or both?

    Love your other threads btw

I think if you can get enough visitors you could make some money. I've seen Flash Game sites where the game is in the middle and there are ads around it on the side, and I bet they get some high CTRs sometimes. I'm not sure how much those types of ads pay, but I know some of them are HUGE campaigns (like the one for that one MMORPG where it's got the chicks showing cleavage and saying something like "come play, my lord" or whatever). I see that ad EVERYWHERE so I'm guessing they are pretty well-funded and probably pay decently per click.

If you put the right games on your site you get a ton of visitors. I've seen threads on other forums EXPLODE when someone posts a link to a cool flash game, and you know how people love to share those with their friends ("dood i can't beat level 7 wtf!!!" and then like 50 other people try it and post their results).

I'm not sure. I don't know what kind of CPA ads there are for flash games. You may want to try one on one side and the other on the other side and see which does better. Or "split test" them (which everyone here always mentions even tho I don't know exactly how to do that, but I'm sure there's a script somewhere that does it) and see which makes you more money.

    Thank you, sir!

Mollah, do you still feel making money online is as hard as you did in your post from a few months ago?

Are you talking about my "message to all beginners online trying to make money" thread?

Nothing has changed since then. I still feel that 99% of the info out there is bullshit and 99% of the people out there are bullshit artists. Most people will lie to your face just to make a buck. The dbag selling you the ebook with some "OMG SUPER SECRET MONEY MAKING METHOD" isn't actually making money with that method; he's making money from selling you an ebook with a vague bullshit method in it that probably won't work even if you were to execute it correctly.

If you are interested in being in business in the long haul, I recommend NOT taking that path. It may be harder in the short run, but much, MUCH easier in the long run to be honest.

As far as it being "hard," it's certainly not easy. Once you find a business model that works for you, it mostly becomes an issue of competition, which is yet another reason why NO ONE would ever share a profitable method. More competition = less marketshare = less money for you.

Other than becoming a celebrity you mean? :D

Do you mean for like a Facebook account for your business, or for your personal account?

If it's for your personal account, meet people! I never understood why people added friends that they don't know in real life. I know people who have 1,000s of facebook friends. Seriously. In real life, I know about 100-200 people total, and more than half of those are people that I only casually knew from the office when I worked a corporate job. More "acquaintances" than "friends."

Altho I will admit, half of my facebook friends are people from my elementary/high school that I haven't seen in years but we still remember each other. So that counts because I technically know them IRL :D

That's a niche that I don't have any experience with. Sorry!

I would imagine however that such a specific sub-niche would probably sell itself. I can't see that area having tons of competition, but I could be wrong.

    AGREED
Before I found this forum I went through all the most basic shithole forums (dp, wf,etc). I felt like every god damn post was to sell me something... If his system is so good why is he pushing so hard to give away his 10k a month method for 30$ a pop?

I saw this one guy on WF named kenster who sold 800 copies of his cpa ebook. The damn book is so basic and vague you could of found all the same info here in 10 mins and for free. Those people were making the stupid ebook out to be like a damn bible.

    /end rant

I may do another one tonight. Get your questions ready.

Don't pull a DeathByLight and get banned by incorrectly following my advice [IMG] I never advocated forum spam and certainly not spamming this forum [IMG]
