    Why the hell does a police dept have a .COM and not a .GOV website, that's what I want to know.

    That is proof anonymous is a bunch of kids, the police do not make laws they enforce it. It would have made more sense to have taken down the legislature's website.

    Maybe the legislature's website was too hard to take down? :D

    Anyways, I do support Anonymous' cause but IMO they should probably stick to things that have more to do with the Internet...

    I realize that they have a huge presence but bringing a site down with DoS attacks is not really "hacking" or anything big.

    Like it was mentioned already, they need to stick to issues their fan base cares about. Otherwise, they are building enemies.

    Being a resident I can confirm this... Seemed like SLCPD took it down tho to figure out what was up and just havent put it back up yet.

    Turns out they didn't just DoS it. They gained access and the police is worried that they would release that info and endanger lives. They states they have no such intentions. But this actually works, she said the legislation isn't coming back for at least one more session, possibly more.

    They are sitting on a lot of sensitive info and thats how they have the leverage
