I get tons of shit links like mywebsite.com/user.php?the_answer@advertisingurl.com and they even ping them and build backlinks. So my question is - what is this bringing someone and what do I get. Today for example I was pinged with some viagra/russian sex websites... but always from "/the__answer@SPAMURL" My web server returns 404 on those pages.
    Any suggestions ?

This is just a collateral from having a website. Scanners, probers, spammers, etc, are attempting such url's 24x7.

Recently what you can do is disavow links back to your site if you start receiving too many of these spammy links.

I get the same thing on several of my websites. I use wordpress and so there are plugins that allow you to moderate comments before they go live. These individuals are looking to obtain blog comment backlinks from your site. At least that's what I experienced in this type of case. Hope that helps.

    Don't allow comments. Problem solved.
