So the traffic from Ad.f.ly (there you have it) also varies wildly. Especially during the night you get almost no installs, and the EPC is also pretty unstable. Unfortunately you cannot really run your campaign only during certain hours of the day. From the limited data I have (around 46k clicks run in total also for other GEOs), I suspect it is a question of the right time and the right day of the week (maybe?).
Also not very scalable. You can only increase your bid to get more traffic, which might pretty much ruin your EPC.
Do you think CPC could be a factor, that conversions might also get higher with a larger cost per click? From what I know, ****** customers like to click several short links to get their precious content.
I know I should just test the shit out of this theory myself, but I am on a very tight budget and cannot risk just throwing money away on a hunch... so I figured a more seasoned PPC marketer should know more about this stuff.
Even if CPC could be a factor, you can't jump on and bid high. From what I see on my side on what I do, factors like hours, days of week, devices (desktop vs mobile - and here iOS pays better), matter a lot.
