Hello guys . Since I my sites went down from page 1 to 10+ I decided to buy new domains and try to rank them . I am planning to build about 100 Web 2 Blogs with unique content for each domain -{ Weebly, Wordpress, Blogger, MyOpera, and few other High Pr Ones }- ( 400-500 words each - this always worked good for ranking ) for start. My question is ... Should I put my Main Domain Links as Anchor text ? Or should I use anchor texts ? Whats safer ? I dont want my sites dissapear again at the next google update.

Also , if I use Main Domain Link as anchor text .. Would rankings go UP if I blast the TIERS 1 with the keywords I want to rank My MAIN Websites with ? I never did this way until now ... Whats your experience with this ?

    Thanks.

Why do you think the anchor text is related to your sites tanking with the latest Penguin update? Did you get a unnatural link notice prior, and verified your anchor texts after?

I'm going to be as bold to suggest (although with this last half month to current, with the 2 updates going, hence it being unprovable what caused your malfunction0) that it would be more obvious if you left only high pr\pa\da\tf\whatever anchored text to your primary domain.

If you're going to make targeted anchored keywords, mix it up... Don't be greedy, if you see a PR8 page that you can leave a comment on that's do-follow, toss in a naked url. The fact is, that it will be discovered by others and have a higher OBL after you any how.

If you were concerned about providing targetted traffic (which it seems you are, being as you're wanting to do your own tiers) you should do more than 400-500 words on top of that.

Again, my and anyone others' opinion is pure conjecture at this point after these last updates, especially since I doubt either of or have finalized.

Try to contact other webmasters for links :)
I did this with major businesses even called in and it worked.
I just offered a post on my blog for a link on their PR-1+ page.
Make sure it is in your niche. That way you re-gain your ranking.
Also go for more then one ranking long tail is still good. :D

All the links I had were from all kinds of Sites... High pr to PR 0 , . Most of my tier 1 links were : WEb 2 Blogs, Social Bookmarks, Social Networks , Articles and Wikis. Every day I build different types of links ... One day Web 2 , next day Bookmarks, Next day Social Networks , And then Articles And Wikis . After 3-4 days I started to boost the Tiers 1 with Wikis , Blog Comments, Xrumer Profiles And Forum Posts . Put all Links into LINDEXED And Drip Feed for 2 Weeks ... So my site got about 50-100 New Links Every day ... I hit page for most of my sites... Stayed there for 1 month + ... and then google update came..and BOOM. Dissapeared....

Again, I'll play devil's advocate and say that appears to be a typical SEO foot print. The primary reason why I'm not saying that's the reason why you got bounced out of the primary page is because the soot hasn't settled yet.

I for one am not changing a damn thing, I'm keeping it up on "average" to make it look as natural as possible, despite any updates, and despite which ever site stayed the rose one rank, stayed the same or dropped dramatically.

After it settles, we can "rest assured it's over" and continue on our merry little ways and get bent over again by the big G.

I'm going to wait this storm out, as I have for Panda\Penguin X (too soon to say what Hummingbird did exclusively, which is likely why Penguin "2.1" was released so shortly afterwards: only to create yet another variable).

I'm not going to say step your efforts up for Yahoo\Bing (you should have already been trrying doing so), I'm just going to say use Social Media more so (even though they're bed buddies).

This is obvious, however... the less organic\paid traffic you rely on directly from Google, the more likely you are able to pivot away from every whim and desire Google has.

I would say, use anchors but diversify more now. So if you were targeting 20 keywords then target 50 now. With a good mix of anchors, long tail keywords, generic keywords, brand keyword and naked url things will bounce back.

Just make sure you do not use keywords for Web 2.0 usernames or blog urls. Make it as natural as possible. Make it like how an actual blogger will write on his/her blog. And please do not use 1 post web 2.0s and always go for unique content.

Avoid the websites opera, edublogs, tumblr
