    If it continues this way nobody will use anchor text anymore. And it will decrease the quality of their search results.

    But hey didn't they tell that "press releases" dont give any boost to your rankings before ?

    Didn't say that footer backlinks will do nothing to your rankings, I'mm seeing website using sape footer backlinks kicking high in the serps.

    Do you beleive that this will be algorithmic or manual ?

    Edit Add : Anyway Just another new chea Nseo method I guess.

    They will still provide some benefit but just devalued, although if you completely cut it out it it will make your backlink profile look less natural and you may even receive a negative drop that way.

    Seems to me that they want to force people to rank via adwords. :-/
