Hey guys, I'm [insert personal description and life problems here including the wanted money per day]

So I was thinking to start a journey today and i hope you all can have the patience to follow me whenever I have the mood to do something with my project.

    Let's Start:

DAY 1: Writing this thread and my super plan where I don't really know what to fill it with
    DAY 2: Building the site
DAY 3: Resting, sleeping, chasing rabbits..
    DAY 4: Adding content
    ..
DAY 7: Guys y do I no make any moniez yet?
    ...
    DAY 16: Thread abandoned x

So as you can see the sarcasm floating in the air, my point in here is that people who are making 'follow me journeys' (the most part of them, but not all), starts their journey from Day 1. Usually, we all know how the first weeks are, when we want to get in a serious project. And not everybody like to read new beginnings about how someone is going to start and see a slow progress, without any much info. But wait, we do like seeing slow progresses, if the 'thing' works. Just that a thread is losing its quality when you get to read a load of replies like 'good luck man, wish you the best and such' without any informative content, as well as the poor Day 1 plan.

What I'm saying is that it would be a better idea if someone would start working on a project, and after like at least 60 days, to start a Journey thread, and write in there, their personal journal and how things went for him. Like what problems he did encountered, what he did, how he improved stuff, if he started to bank or not and stuff like that. Only after that, when you will get to switch ON, the brains of your audience/followers, you will be able to improve your project, inspire others and get help; because BHW does have valuable members, and most of them doesn't bother to reply to Journeys that are talking about whether the template of their site is looking good enough or not.

If you can't handle to start your project on your own (when actually isn't on your own, if you think about the large information that floats on this board), then how could you ask for people to follow you from day 1? At first, do your own job, as you learned, pass through hell and heaven, and then start your journey, from day 60 or more ~, providing A LOT of information. Do it with info from Day 1 to Day 60 or Day 80, whatever. People will read, and will tell you were you went wrong, or what to improve, and so on, because they will have a lot of information in their hands about your project, so their reply will have a meaning, helping you AND your other followers as well, not just a 'good luck buddy'. You don't need luck, you need brains.

A thread like that, I'd follow too :hail:

I agree... For example, that guy who had that whole team of like 10 people who were making 100's of sites, that was a great journey thread. But for most, it just goes like you described. There should probably be a journey-section on this forum.

Yes and no. But if there would be one, it would be a good idea that those threads not to show up on the "New Posts" page. Because whoever wants to follow someone, he or she will check it out again by his own will :) But that's not up to me anyway, I'm just trying to give a hand on making BHW a better place, like many others are doing it anyway.

Not sure if you understood the point of this thread. I'm not bothered that you bumped this after a 'century', but I don't know why you're asking this as it doesn't make any sense. Long story short, I was talking about the countless people who used to make Journey Threads and abandon them in a few days or just start with an undetailed Day 1 plan. That's it, and I think it kinda worked, as I recently read quite a few 'complete'/succesful journeys.

    I agree OP.

I don't like this flood of journeys on the page. It's honestly a bit discouraging, to add, when you were following someone and they gave up or went MIA.

I made a journey thread but I quit posting to it because I found no need to continue with it. I'm still going with my method, and making money, but there wasn't a point in keeping it going.
