Hey, I have just found a way that should get your lost traffic if your site has been hit by the latest google update.
So, here is the thing, I posted the following thread when I lost 70% of my traffic due to recent update-
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/goodbye-blogging.1418791/
Just like me, a lot of guys lost their most pages in SERPS even though their pages were indexed fine. It has been several weeks and there is no update from Google's side and I haven't recovered mine. So, what did I do?
I took a few of my pages, namely 7 of the posts that lost ranking completely from the SERPs for an experiment. I changed their URL's little bit, then updated their dates to the current, then submitted the new URLs in webmaster for indexing.
It has been a couple of hours and all of those pages have regained their lost rankings by up to 90% to the original one and a lot of my traffic has come back. Now I will collect all the posts which have disappeared from the SERPS and do the same for them. Let's hope that this is permanent.
I will update if something major happens.
Update- By only updating the 7 posts, I am seeing more and more posts joining the list that are getting indexed automatically. Wow.
