Here's what I'm thinking. There are like 1000 skilled members here, on BHW who are particularly proficient in one area or another, but probably struggle in other areas. For example, two members are formidable niche researchers and have access to all the tools they need, but suck at e-mail marketing, whereas there are 7 other members who used to do e-mail marketing for some big enterprise, but they know only little about WP programming. The point is we can JV only with our skills and means, but we can do it together, all of us. Someone who previously had leadership skills can pull a whole project like this together. The math is, we rack up a large number of skilled members. For 1000 members to get $1000/mo. means all of us must work towards the $1,000,000/mo. Someone here definitely is trusted enough, and has the means to control this sum every month. Let's say this would be a list of requirements, for 100 members (regardless of the skills), we're going to do this the "play-a-tycoon" way: Target: 25 websites to make $4000 / month Niche/Microniche: who's a good, trusted niche researcher, all members can make suggestions SEO: 5 for back-linking, 2 for traffic, whoever else can help on this Marketing: whoever can do offline / online Social / Other means: again, whoever is also proficient on this one Design: 5 dark-hat professional designers to get them done by tomorrow (including me), one of the marketers maybe Programming: I'm also good on this one, whoever else is Management / Money: accounting skills anyone? Security and Trust: BHW admin & mods (I don't think we can trust anyone else) can hold the all the account and send the money to the right place. Investors: none. We're only putting our skills and means on the table Profit sharing: equally to anyone. We're all doing our part here and what the particular skill is should not matter. Gears should be as equally as important. List is incomplete, but I want to know what you think about this. Please review, discuss and let the others know what your thoughts are. Thank you. Draft below. Correct it if it's too lame.
