Hello, My name's Dominic 20 Years Old (reichstagsuperstar on these forums),

I'm a well versed web developer who possess skills in PHP, Python and Java. Sadly I have no connection and thus when ever I offer my services to people they are always undercut by someone willing to do it cheaper who has a better reputation than I do.

I came to these forums about a year ago in the hopes of making money by utilising my technological skills, after being kicked out of home and being made to live in a bedsit with a big credit card debt hanging over my head. Before this I had dabbled in the art of monetising websites specifically in the area of web hosting; at the time I was making a small profit each month $100-$200. This time around I decided that trying that again wouldn't be feasible because quite frankly it's a different time to what it was back then - the market is too saturated. Instead I decided to go down the IM route which was completely new to me at the time. I tried all sorts of methods mentioned on these forums, invested in 10-12 domain names and failed spectacularly; don't get me wrong I'm not having a dig at the people on these forums, it's my lack of experience in this field not their tips. What I really need is someone to spoonfeed me i.e. guide me through making my first profitable site. A year later and I've only just managed to make back the cost of buying the domains/hosting from a year ago; so I've had to let all but two of my domains go. I'm making a small profit each day through AdSense (about $3) - this is on my personal blog which has got a PR2.

Perhaps this is foolish of me but I refuse to give up and I will continue to read this forum everyday until I make it! The point of this post is to express my gratitude to everyone on this forum who has provided me with helpful information (of which there is alot) and to say that although since my joining I have been in the background, I promise that from now on I will remain active on these forums and help people wherever I can.

    That's all folks!
    ...and thanks again!

You will make it someday man. Just test more methods and add a personal twist to them. You're on the right track, even after failure you're motivated and that's where the money's at :D.

    I'll be rooting for you.
