Hi,
Right, 1st off I have been an avid READER of BHW for ages but have been guilty of not adding to the community.
It's about time I changed that so as an act of goodwill here is an easy way to make some cash.
I do this and get pretty good results.
This admittedly isnt rocket science but it is effective.
Tools used:
Tweet attacks (Easily the best twitter tool, and I've had them all, plus Jay updates the software all the time. Highly recommend it)
Social Oomph
Twitterfeed
Fiverr
1)Get a twitter account and follow people in the make money online niche.
(I use tweet attacks and follow the followers of the "big name" marketers)
I actually have a few twitter accounts with what amounts to almost 5000 followers for this little project. I'm guessing most on here will have at least one twitter list in the IM niche.
2)Go to google and find some RSS feeds that are about making money online. Get a free twitterfeed account and point the rss feeds to your relevant twitter accounts. Don't overdo it, you just want a steady stream of free content for your twitter accounts. (If you already have IM autoblogs, just use your own RSS feeds)
3)Go to Fiverr and create some gigs. (There are plenty of threads on here about Fiverr gigs) I find that offering bookmarking and other generic IM services are the way to go here. A lot of people might argue that Fiverr is swamped with these gigs but it doesn't matter cos you are generating your own traffic. You don't need to stand out amongst the other Fiverr users.
4)Go to social oomph and schedule some tweets. I usually get social oomph to make 1 post every hour every day. The point here is to create recurring tweets that send people to your fiverr gigs. Create spinnable text for your tweets here. Social oomph allows you to use spinnable syntax.
I usually make it so there are 24 different versions of the tweets so it always posts something different. I also use budurl to create maybe half a dozen different urls for each gig so the same link doesn't appear in all the posts.
The tweets will be things like "No way, I just got 3000 bookmarks for $5. Absolute bargain! YOURWEBSITE" Or whatever service it is that you are offering. Just try and get the click.
Thats it.
It takes maybe 2 hours max to set it all up. And just runs forever.
Recap
So you have Fiverr gigs, then you have a twitter account with a few rss feeds supplying the "content" then you have social oomph scheduling your recurring tweets that link back to Fiverr.
I have between 3-4000 views to all my Fiverr gigs so far just from running this for a few weeks. Made about $400 so far from easy to do automated "jobs". Conversions arent high but there is enough traffic that conversions don't need to be high.
Just as an extra contribution, you do not need to use this method to promote Fiverr gigs. If you need traffic for any niche you can do this.
Lets say the niche is Golf.
Follow some golf lists on twitter, offer them a free gift (plr golf ebook or some other relevant freebie) as a way of getting people to follow back.
Get a few RSS feeds on golf from Sky sports, bbc etc. so they get value from being your follower.
Then use social oomph to schedule the tweets to, lets say, golf clubs on amazon, or a golf product on clickbank etc.
I like to think of twitter as my own "radio" station where they get relevant content mixed up with my adverts.
It is so easy to drive lots of targeted traffic to any offer with twitter. Just supply the twitter users with relevant feeds and schedule your adverts to mix in with the feeds.
Twitter has overtaken Google for most of my traffic now on most of my sites. It is a reliable traffic source for ANY niche IMO.
I hope this is useful to someone.
Cheers BHW
