An Aussie greets you with his story

Hello BHW community,

I wanted to make a comforting introduction but considering my financial situation, I don't feel i can.
I have lurked this website for a while now and decided to make an account to familiarize myself within this great community.
It's an interesting time for me, here in Western Australia. I am a tradesman living in the city and have had my trade end up on the chopping block due to the state of the housing market. Simply put, no one is buying houses currently. Years of experience null and void due to bigger things at play that are out of my control.

Now I'm looking for a change.
I was always told I could sell ice to Eskimos and that's what I plan on doing.

So here I am.
