so i just updated AMR and did a blast to over 1000 directories. Successful was 255 and after i did a livelinks report, i found 1 PENDING backlink.

this is the first time that this has ever happened. I assume AMR is still not working properly. is anyone else having this problem? or did i do something wrong when updating to the new verison.

My list has gotten pretty low. 2 months ago I could do a blast and get 400 AA directories on my report (doing the fast check of backlinks on author page).

I'm down to 120 AA now, and I'm not sure if its AMR messing up or just the fact that article directories in general are a dying breed. Either way it sucks.

If what you all are saying is true, how come some people still sell their AMR blast gig at fiverr? Time to update all your lists!

All my blasts this week where via 1.1.0.5. Which strangely seems to be much more stable for me than .0.6...

My DB has yielded 550-650 AA's all week, from around 1600-1800 successful submits.

...But I do have to work hard on my DB.

I'm guilty of slacking on scraping new sites regularly, but even my list has over 1200 successful submissions and 400ish auto approve. A few hundred links will trickle in over the following weeks of a submission on top of the aa.

Use a good footprint and get to scraping :D

I always use the full signin and retrieve live links option though. It's slower of course, but it usually yields more.

I've never understood why vince (AMR) doesn't add link URL harvesting as an optional part of the submission process. It's far more resource economical to harvest the link there and then while signed into an AA (even if you wait 3 seconds to check) than it is to logout and then come back later and re login to pull the data, especially if you're running 100 threads.

Same here. Success rate is too way low. Tried with all the free lists floating around. Hmmm the software needs an update! too many users

    That's kind of self contradicting...

Free lists mean that everyone gets them. So they get spammed and die quickly.

How would a software update help? The software does what it's supposed to do, and if Vince added loads more directories constantly, then they'd die just as quick too.

The too many users thing is the same; that's why directories fail.

You have to understand that the minute something passes a certain critical mass of easiness to use, it become next to worthless, as it gets spammed to death.

It's the same for SENuke. Most of the 2.0s on there are over spammed simply because it's those that it supports.

IM is NOT about finding the easy route. Success will ONLY come from going that extra distance, as otherwise that new level just becomes the norm, and to succeed you have to find other ways to pull away from the pack.

Actually, i (very successfully I might add) use AMR for 1st tier content links. But I use good quality hyper-spun continent and do submissions over a huge range of URLs and anchors leaving an incredibly low footprint.

The main problem with any mass submission tool is the footprint most of the time. People use 1-2 domains and 3-5 keywords and think they've diversified with a 1000 link blast.

When i do an AMR sub, there are NEVER less than 40-50 domains, with maybe 100 different URLs and each will have at least 50-100 different anchor variations. So it drip-drip-drips links across a wide range of pages. Do LOTS of these and you end up with some very powerful lomg term linking.
