Hi I ended up with some duplicate directories in ARM - I don't know how since it's supposed to be checking for duplicates before creating the directory entries.

Can someone please help me remove the duplicates? There doesn't seem to be a delete button just blacklist which in this case doesn't seem to be correct.

Thanks

Sx.

I had this same problem when importing other peoples databases.
sadly I don't know how to fix it. I just let Amr submit to them twice.

i had this problem which i brought up on the amr forum. Vince is implimenting a fix but this was back sept 8th i think.

its already on next build but vince is taking his time with it!! probably a few more features to next build but i have been waiting since sept so shouldnt be long now

guys

export your database files
open those .amrx files with any text editor (i'm using notepad++)
save as text or copy to blank one
submit text file to http://pgl.yoyo.org/urlex/ (not mine)
copy procesed urls from urlex and add it to scrapebox then remove duplicate domains
go to C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Article Marketing Robot (thats on win7 don't know for others OS's) and delete text files sites.lotsoflettersandnumbers and sitesseen.lotsoflettersandnumers
Open AMR and import new list, and that's it

it looks like a lot of work but it really isn't

hope that helps

Thanks I'll try that, that's what I was actually looking for - a way that allows me to clear everything off and re-input the directories.

Yea then that's how it happened to be then when I imported other people's database - thought the application was checking for dups apparently not :(

before you submit your amrx file to any site just be sure you dont mind the site owner keeping a copy of your list.

maybe more people should email vince about this problem then it might get sorted sooner as i have asked a few times now maybe more people should do the same

Nahh I won't be using that online form... it's way to obvious why this guy is doing that... 99% he's keeping a copy of all URLs people post building himself a massive list.

You can easily convert the .amx files into more readable formats with just notepad++ or any other half decent text editor.

that's what i thought too (that somebody wants my list) but if you take a closer look at http://pgl.yoyo.org/urlex/ you will see "Update 2008-04-11"

since you said that you know how to extract urls with notepad++, would you be so kind to tell us? I know only basic functions with notepad++

thanks
