AMR Directory List - Too Many Directories Not Accepting Articles
this makes the AMR submit success rate very low. I saw a free list around here of 2000 directories, and by the time I took out the duplicates to the original
AMR list there was no more than 200 directories worth using.

Same here, got alot of failing. Got a list of 7k. Anyone who could share a good list? :) +Rep for that.

It is because those sites are not article directories, they are simply wordpress blog so you can't post article to them.

I did a big clean of about 3 lists totalling about 40,000 and got around 700 good ones.

How many live links are you guys getting right away?

I used to get 200+ (300-400 with brand new account) all unique domains when pulling the report an hour after submission, now I am lucky to get 70. My list is about 16 000 and I've scraped with every single footprint I can think of. Also, now I add the bare link (the URL) to the resource box, so I can get a link from the Article MS sites and still getting fewer and fewer. New accounts every week, different emails, I've tried everything...

Yes. I am looking for good PR articles directories. I am using AMR but success rate is too slow.

You can buy a list from Fiverr.com for $5

Although I am willing to pay much more than $5 if anyone can provide a good list for AMR : )

Now AMR success rate is bad. Few weeks ago I could get 400+ live links after few minutes of blasting. Now it has reduced to 100 :(

there are a few lists floating around, picked one up for 80, 40 and 4k, testing them right now, hopefully they work!!!

The main problem you're facing is that those of us who DO have good AMR lists are pretty reluctant to share them, as once they're public, many of the new directories die within a few weeks, as they get spammed to bejesus...

If you do find an AMR .amrx export file - and there are plenty on this forum if you search - then you can use our free tool to convert it to a plain URL txt list, so you can de-dupe and check it through. It can be found at:

http://www.ubertoolz.com/AMRX2URL.php

And BTW, any list that has more than 1.5k directories in it has not been cleaned. The first thing you do with a new list is do a sign up, then a resubmit on all failed, then a submission, then a resubmit on all failed. Then you end up with the dir's that actually accept submissions. Export this list and import it into your 'clean' AMR installation.

that free tool is a very convenient way of collection free lists !!!

to give you a goal to shoot for, it's possible to break 2k submissions

of course, not all 2k will post immediately and some may never if they get abandoned or broken

a future update of AMR may include a feature for users to share submissions with each other on user owned directories. so only AMR users could access them. let's hope sniper can make something like that work. it could easily push submissions past 3k, 4k, or 5k.

Most of directories increases precaution methods only becoz of AMR.. nah nah not bcoz of spamming, but bcoz of double submission.. if u take a close look u will find duplicate directories in amr, i have noted upto 5 of same name... so when same article get submitted 5 times to same directory, they simply close it down! its wat happens upto my knowledge... :) Suggestions are welcomed!

Its not easy getting a list, i have scraped my own, downloaded every list on bhw and other forums and bought lists from fiverr and seosites. All in all, last week i checked about 1 milion domains, after removing all the 404, 405, parked domains, dead domains, not accepting articles and other errors, I have 1700 decent article directories and get 500 live links.

I share a lot on this forum, but this list would not be one of them, purely because so much effort has gone into getting it spot on, that if it was made public, it would quickly become useless :(

Another factor most AMR users are not considering is that oftentimes, those who own the WP article directories are being slammed by a constant barrage of submissions. So what happens?

A high percentage of these sites are on shared hosting accounts and they either start getting warnings from their hosts; or their accounts are shut down for being in violation of using too many resources on a shared server.

When you factor in that most people do not know how to optimize their WP article directory, it becomes a game of hit and miss for those using AMR. Its easier for article directory site owners to simply scuttle these non money making directories than to keep cuddling them for the sake of AMR users.

You need to realize that the attrition rate of WP article directories is scary high. Hence, the reasons why these AMR lists are fizzling out constantly.

AMR was a BOON when it first came out but now it has become a somewhat of a handicap for those who have not made some serious adjustments in how they use it.

If you are looking for a major list that has thousands of sites AMR you can easily submit to the way it was back in 2010, you might as well be diligently searching for one of the coveted Holy Grails... :detective

The people who have pristine AMR lists don't post them on forums, Fiverr, Skype or otherwise because those lists are simply pure gold. And who gives their gold away but fools?
:bling:

sorry for jacking thread op but if i can ask all the experienced amr users a question.

in the quick results tab do i blacklist all the directories that says 'not accepting articles, directory database failure, error 404, permission denied,??

i am still confused on how u guys clean your list. i got all my list from bhw and i thnk most are junk.
