I did three AMR blasts on three different sites a week ago. I'll be monitoring the results and reporting here.

Site 1
New niche website, registered last month. Low competition.
Position before blast (3 May): 20-24
I blasted this site with a non-unique, spun article. The article didn't pass copyscape, but was spun well.
Position after blast (10 May, 1 week): 18

Site 2
New niche website, registered last month. Low competition.
Position before blast (3 May): 27-28
I blasted this site with a unique, spun article. The article passed copyscape, and was manually spun.
Position after blast (10 May, 1 week): 15

Site 3
Established, PR5 website. High competition.
Position before blast (3 May): 7-8
I blasted this site with a non-unique, spun article. The article didn't pass copyscape, but was spun well.
Position after blast (10 May, 1 week): 7

Each blast returned about 400 livelinks, which I submitted to linklicious.me. Will be back with more results and will do another blast in a week.

and they say article marketing is dead....

technically this cant be called article marketing.. this is spamming :p .. not that iam against it, but in AM you write and submit articles to get traffic/sales through those articles, backlink is not the primary objective in AM

Small update, Site 1 has now gone back up to 20.

Obviously it's difficult to interpret the results for such a new site, or any site for that matter. There's too many factors, but hopefully the results give people an idea of how (in)effective AMR is on new and old sites.

Thanks I'll be watching this thread. I have AMR but still don't know the best way to get the full potential out of it.

i think you will get good result, but in only 1 week its hard so don't stop working if you are not satisfied with the result ok? continue the good job and update us with the result :)

Protect your money site. Don't blast it with links from all over. Instead, build some reputation by having some other sites build links towards your money site.

pffffft. Don't believe the hype.

I think the problem is your competition is too low and anything at this point will help it.
But if the point is just to show if AMR works at all, then it would be an ok experiment.

interesting I follow this, keep us updated I love threads like this!

The whole point in this thread is so I can experiment so others don't have to take risks.

I got the -950 penalty from a blast like on your Site 2... how many places did you blast it too?

Well said, Abstroose. While I personally use another tool, I have people
that work for me using AMR and so I will be following this thread closely.

Much appreciated!

In my own experience, blasting an established site directly with AMR is a recipe for disaster.

Good luck!

Successfully submitted to about 1300 sites, and approximately 400 auto-approved.

That's what I'm testing. If worse comes to worst, I'll use linkpushing.net to recover my site. :D

Great and interesting case study mate.

Time for an update? Whats the positions? And did you perform additional linkbulding / SB blast your article links?

Thanks, Rep+ given ;)

What hype?
I guess he's talking about the footprint hype. Since AMR doesn't have spinable usernames and he thinks google is not smart enough te recognize 400 similar articles, all linking to the same site, written by the same author.
