I've been running through my active links since something didn't seem right about the number of backlinks I was receiving. I'm getting around 300+ auto approve but many of the links would never show up.

After looking through a lot of these links I found a good portion of them were on domains with 0 pages indexed.

It would be nice to be able to bulk remove sites from our directory list that are not indexed. Going through and finding all of them and then removing them manually would be a pain in the ass. It seems like a waste of time to post to them.

Anyone know of an easier way to remove them? I thought about running them through scrapebox but SB is unreliable sometimes with checking indexed links.

Won't they just be imported back in when the AMR guys update the list? And how do you export the directory list?

There's got to be an easier way to get rid of bad sites.

With ones that aren't indexed can you not reindex your page with blasts bookmarking and the like or would that not work?

    Kind of related..

Why is it that scrapebox says my livelinks from my recent blast are indexed in google yet they still don't show in google search and non of the links are registering in site explorers?

If the whole site is not indexed there's likely a reason for it and the chances of anything getting indexed on the site is probably 0. The most likely scenario is that the site was penalized for something and removed from the index.

SB is unreliable when it comes to indexed links. If the site takes too long to load it will come back as not indexed.

Certain permalink structures will show up as being indexed in SB but if you search it manually it won't show up. It happens more frequently when number are used to represent the article page.

YSE is slow to update now and on its way out. It's no longer all that reliable.

Hmm strange, in terms of YSE cos for this keyword I've been working on it seems to be updating by the minute as I am checking my serps and YSE tells me 3 more or less here and there through the day and I look at serps and it has indeed danced somewhat.

I'm still using majestic but YSE seems to be the one that updates quickest.

It's hit or miss with YSE. It's been rumored that Bing is going to eventually discontinue it. But who knows. I have sites that update regularly and others that haven't changed in weeks. All of which are having links built to them regularly.
