I just purchased AMR and those captchas are annoying as hell . I read up on a few threads and captcha services like decaptcha and deathbycaptcha.

    My questions:

1.) Which Service can you recommend?
2.) I really dont like the idea of purchasing something over avangate or third partie gateways. Is there anyway around it, or can you just fill in fake name/adress/etc. ?

    Thank in advance..

    Deathbycaptcha is good.

I don't see any problem with payment gateway, or you wish for wire tranfer for buying captchas ? :D

Thanks for your reply. But I'm better safe than sorry.

I never even heard of Avangate before and therefore I'm just a little suspicious/curious. (we Germans are always overprotective :) )

I'm waiting for a few more responses regarding the security of the personal information, before I purchase some captchas.

I've used decapcha and death by capcha.

My personal preference is death by capcha as it is cheaper than other decapcha services, has good uptime and i don't have any problems with it. I found that with decapcha, if their service is overloaded you will get hardly capcha's solved unless you have paid a kind of priority fee.

I have had no issues with avangate or decapcha - its up to you who you use, but when a popular service use avangate for their payment processing.... what choice do you have?

I just quickly checked Avangate, and companies like Kaspersky and lavasoft use them according to their website which looks clean and professional, perhaps you should google them and take a look through it.

Otherwise, just do your codes manually.

Thanks, guess i'll go with death by captcha. i just signed up to a few hundred directories by hand.. now my head is spinning, lol. I'm more than happy to pay 1-2 bucks for 1000 captchas!

I forgot to mention that when you purchase through avangate, you get the option to use paypal for the payment itself.

I've only used death by captcha and never had any problems.I would not even consider not using a captcha service I'd go mad. These companies can't afford for any hint of scamming with cc's so you're fine.Look for the https in the url.
