Can you tell me what soft ware is the one where your hyper link is in the body of the text of the article? or does it not matter..?

AMR is great but only allows author link? Does that matter?

It's not AMR that only allows author links in the resource box, but the directory themselves.

I personally submit my articles to all directories firstly with my links in the body..... then pull the ones which failed and re-submit the same article, but with the article links in the resource box the second time round..

Agree with Dn100, best practice is to sort out your directory listing that supports contexual backlink and do always your first blast on these article directories and than on directories that allows backlinks only in author box.

HM... so those that publish the author resource with your anchor text are no good or same value?

Contextual links (links surrounded by relevant text) would be better

Contextual links are always best, but dont under estimate "author box" backlinks as they are usually from Aged, High Page Rank and High Authority Domains, no matter even if they are no do follow, they will boost SERP for sure.
