American SEO Manager Needed for Growing Agency

    My goal when I launched my agency last year, was to create a world-class digital marketing company. Our goal is to actually change the industries that we touch for the better. We want to inspire our clients, competitors, colleagues, and team to reach for greatness - and to help our clients achieve massive success!

    Over the last year our team has grown to over 8 people and we are still growing.


    I, personally, want to maximize my gifts and strengths, and if that?s your goal as well, you?ll fit in well with our team.

    You will do well if:

    • Seeing clients succeed through your creative work gets you up in the morning
    • Staying on the cutting edge of digital marketing (SEO, PPC, Inbound Marketing, Analytics, PR) keeps you reading late into the night
    • Working on a team that genuinely cares about your success is important
    • Working in startup mode, with fast moving targets and some level of chaos is exciting
    • You want to set your own hours and work from your home or the coffee shop
    • You want to build your department from the ground up

    Be warned: While my company is exciting, it?s not for everyone. We require a lot from our team. We want to hire people who want to be the best in their field of expertise, who genuinely care about our clients and their success. Yes, we are a bit odd, but we like it that way.

    Here's an example list of tasks:

    - Optimizing website content per our SEO guidelines
    - Updating websites to the latest version of Wordpress
    - Verifying and Optimizing Google+ Local listings
    - Keyword research / Ranking report creation
    - Internal linking on clients? websites
    - Checking for and repairing errors with Google Webmaster Tools
    - Video marketing and SEO
    - Inbound marketing
    - Blogger outreach
    - PPC analysis (not management)
    - Google Analytics reports
    ?etc.

    Those are the "technical" tasks on a day to day basis, however, you must also be able to:

    1. Keep projects/tasks on point and make sure projects aren't falling behind.
    2. You must love the SEO industry and want to stay on top of the changing trends.
    3. You must communicate well in written and oral communication as you will be speaking with clients.
