I want to target all of my immediate competitors with an ambush PPV campaign using a few different PPV networks, but I'm doing it to build a brand that I take really seriously and don't want to ruin its reputation.

Does doing this type of campaign with PPV look bad for a brand that I care about? Or will users just see it as any other advertising?

I believe users will just see it as any other advertising medium. In my opinion, it won't ruin your brands reputation.

I would certainly do it if I had a brand I wanted to put out there. Also depends on what exactly your going to be advertising though. So your solely spending the money on advertising your brand or your going to be trying to get some ROI from your campaigns?

Well the main focus is going to be building brand recognition so people think of us first instead of one of our competitors. Obviously a direct ROI from the campaign would be good too, and it's definitely possible, but that's not the intention of this campaign.
