In regard to amazon affiliate sites, I understand the pros and cons of creating a hyper-specific niche website vs a broader site.

Heres my Q - I recently found 2 low competition products that are sort of related, and debating whether to create 2 separate niche sites for each of these products, or a broader site to include them both.

The reason why im considering the latter is bc they both kind of overlap. I obv dont wana give away the products, but the best similar example would be:

    product 1: replica car wheels
    product 2: real car wheels

Obviously these are completely different markets, but would it be outrageous to set up a blog/review site where i talk about ALL car wheels (real cars as well as replica cars)?

I suppose thats a funny example to use replica cars, but you get the idea...

    TIA!

These are similar products that can be grouped together, so it's fine to do that.

It's when you're promoting replica car wheels alongside hair care products it will look strange.

    gotcha.

what if it was more of a stretch - say replica car wheels and real car window cleaner?
would it be outrageous to create a site called allcarproducts.com and have those 2 products/categories as the primary pages that i build links to (and id have other products/categories so that the site covers more than just those 2, otherwise it'd be weird).

Again that would be fine, as there is a central theme, ie car products.
It's like the baby niche, people have baby strollers, baby car seats, baby foods etc but all come back to the central pillar niche of baby products.

    yea i hear you
i guess my only hesitancy is that id bet not a single replica car site sells actual car products
but in google's eyes, it's all in the same car family so probably okay
    thank you!
